We stopped here by accident and what a delicious surprise. Pastries were great and so was the coffee. Bread was also really good. And everyone was friendly. The store was full, but it had a nice and warm environment. You will not be disappointed.

This place does many things very well. We went in there to buy some bread...there was a large amount of choice. We also bought a Bronut and a Tiramisu slice. All this to take away. We'd already eaten and we regretted that we didn't stay for a sandwich and coffee. The menu looks really appetising and the place was full.... More

Very casual. Order at the counter for dine in or to go. We got to choose a roll from several different kinds, then choose sausage or bacon, then choose what kind of cheese, and the egg required no decisions. Delicious! Good mocha and latte too! While the place was packed, our order was taken and ready in no time. Prices... More

Came here for lunch on my first day visiting Sonoma. Food was good and fast. It so busy though finding a place to sit in the small place was difficult. If it had not been raining there would've been spaces available. Anyway, I'd go back buy probably not if I wanted to sit and relax.

I was hoping for a quality French bakery in the central plaza of Sonoma. The food and drinks were good, but it lacked the upscale feeling most people seek in a French cafe. Coffee was self serve from gas station style carafes. The pastries were good, as well as the croissant sandwiches. We were sitting outside waiting for our order... More

We stopped here for a quick coffee and pastry prior to leaving for wine tasting and it was a great choice. There are a ton of choices when it comes to coffee, pastries and breakfast sandwiches that there is sure to be something for everyone you come with. Plus, you have the opportunity to sit inside or out, pending on... More

Don't get me wrong. The food is tasty. But if you get here during the lunch rush or a busload of confused German senior citizens was just dropped off, be prepared for a chaotic scene. That's what happened to us--lunch rush and a busload of people inside. There is no "line". If you're ready and the person at the register... More

Looking for a great place for breakfast while in the wine country? Visit the Basque Boulangerie Café. My husband and I were in the wine country celebrating our anniversary with two other couples. The first morning we bicycled here and were amazed by how good the pastries and coffee were. The second morning we brought the other two couples with... More

My friends and I came here both mornings we were in Sonoma because it was so delicious. The bronut (brioche donut) was one of the best things I ever ate, and the service was great too. From the cheese sticks to the scones to the quiche to the bronuts--everything was outstanding!!

This was a fantastic place for me to stop and get a coffee and pastry for breakfast. I sat outside and enjoyed the gorgeous Sonoma morning. I ended up getting a few things for our picnic as well. It was great!!
