great takeout, no room to eat in

Fantastic baked goods. Unfortunately there are only a few seats inside and a few outside under an awning. So plan on take away, not eat in.

This place is incredible. I love walking by at night and smelling the bread sitting out and cooling but going early in the morning and grabbing coffee and pastry is heavenly. The kids and I will go for a walk, get a little breakfast here and then play in the park. It is the perfect thing to do in the... More

Although breakfast was included in the price of our lodging, we jumped out of bed and made a beeline to this epitome of bakery shops about a quarter mile away. The Cafe makes all its bread on the premises. And they probably sell out every single day. The tables are tight, and crowded with a crowd who knows good pastry... More

We met here for coffee yesterday morning. It was quite busy, sitting was limited. We ordered cappuccinos and pastries...THE best cappuccino we've had in a long time and the pastries were delicious. It is a cozy, friendly cafe certainly worth a visit.

There's enough variety to eat daily while we visited. The coffee is fantastic! Everything is fresh daily.

We visited Basque almost every day during the week we were in Sonoma. The coffee is very good, and the pastries are delicious. We tried many different varieties (savory croissants, muffins, scones, and more) and like it all. The only downside to Basque is that the demand for their products can overwhelm their space. It's a bit of a zoo... More

We dropped in for a quick lunch and were indeed served quickly..the English breakfast tea was excellent, and so was the mac and cheese...however my broccoli soup was luke warm and heavy...i found it difficult to digest...the staff was friendly...it is a very busy and polular place but I would not go for lunch again. We sat outside as there... More

I went for breakfast and really had to search for something to eat. I settled on the veggie panini. It was just ok. A little disappointed. Probably won't go back for breakfast.

While exploring the wine country of Sonoma Valley we stopped for a nice afternoon tea at this cafe. There was an impressive selection of baked goods, as well as various teas and coffees. The muffins were fantastic, bursting with fruit and flavor. Friendly staff, nice tables in and out, great place to catch your breath in beautiful Sonoma. We left... More

On Sonoma Plaza, I went in to rate their croissant pastry! Hopping busy around lunch time. Nice variety of breads to pop into your day pack!
