My wife and I ate here on Valentine's Day, the food was pretty tasty. They had a special menu for Valentine's day, which was limited, however the pasta we had for two was very good. also, the service was very quick, my wife and I had our dinner and dessert and were back at the hotel in about an hour,... I do not usually eat a big breakfast, and expected a small spread of a continental breakfast. But they had delicious eggs, bacon, and potatoes. As well as hot/cold cereal, fresh fruit, fresh coffee and juices. I was very satisfied!

We had the blackened Halibut with mango and pineapple salsa on a bed of pesto parmesan risotto. It was fabulous. The waitress was very nice and helpful.

We fell in love with the food at the Hadsten House Bistro several years ago, so we made sure it was our first stop when we returned to Solvang. We liked the Bistro because - it opens at 5 pm for those who like an early dinner - we like the puff pastries that appear in soups and desserts -... More

We've stayed at the Hadsten House many times but this is our first time eating here and we weren't disappointed. I had Braised short ribs with a wonderful sauce and garlic mashed potatoes. ($25) It was heavenly, simply one of the best meals I've ever eaten. My fiancé had the bacon wrapped filet mignon which he really liked ($30), and... More

We have stayed at Hadsten House before as a stop over to/from SoCal, but never ate there. Recently we took advantage of their dinner package - a stay including dinner. The decor seemed inconsistent with the dining experience - more like a ski lodge cafe rather than fine dining - although the Christmas decorations were a nice touch and softened... More

The mushroom veggie burger was great. Only complaint is too much oil. Setting is romantic and cozy. Service was great!

Since I was craving my lobster bisque and it was our 25th anniversary, we headed to Solvang to the Hadsten House for one of my favorite meals. Since the lobster bisque, which arrives with a bonnet of puff pastry, is so filling, I just had it and their wonderful spinach salad. My husband had his favorite, pork chop served with... More

Stayed at this Inn for one night, the rooms were very nice and a great value during midweek. The bistro has a very modern and "Hitchcocky" feel to it (as does the lobby) - somewhat dark and mysterious. Service was prompt and speedy. Start: Bread was a tiny bit hard, however I enjoyed pouring the balsamic onto the plate of... More

Restaurant was recommended by our hotel staff. Gourmet food at a good price with an excellent wine list. Wait staff very attentive and professional. Will dine there again on our next Santa Ynez wine tasting trip.
