How does a Napoleon straight from the kitchen after being made sound? Or Danish just made and cooled? To good to be true you say? Not here. The original pastry chef came from Denmark with his recipes and even though he is gone, the recipes carry on. The master pastry chef certainly has the perfect touch. Dough that is light... More

The quaint building and great smells draw you in as you walk by. We had some delicious rum balls and took some turnovers to go. The staff could have been a little friendlier but the pastries were yummy!

Take an appetite. Save the airfare to Denmark and have the same experience here. Hundreds of choices in pastries and entrees.

These are my favorite pastries: cream cheese, raspberry cream cheese, almond and cinnamon rolls. Love the sweet fragrance filled my kitchen when I reheat them. PS: Their chocolate rum balls are good too!!

On my way from Los Angeles to Monterey, a friend of mine knew of this hitherto unknown town called Solvang. I don't care how far out of the way or how much of an inconvenience it is to visit, I compel you to make the trip - it is absolutely worth it to say the least. The small establishment of... More

Always a good cup of coffee and wonderful Danish...take home some bread. Can't go wrong. Lovely little tables to rest your feet and fill your tummy with goodies. They also make yummy sandwiches.

Had pastries from here and they were very good. We even bought some to go so we could enjoy them the next morning on our journey. There are many, many bakeries in town so between baked goods and all the wine tasting rooms life is great in Solvang

Pastries are to die for. Friendly. Choices of baked items reminded of my teenage trip to Denmark. We ate a few there and took a box home. Don't miss out on take out

We got some cookies and coffee which we ate there and a tub of butter cookies to take with us. They were very yummy! We ate them during our trip home to the Riverside/San Diego area.
