The food was excellent, service was quick, I highly recommend this place. The sweedish meatballs were excellent. The only downside was the dessert was limited as it was the end of the night.

Having grown up on German and Hungarian food, this is the real thing. I chose a meal that I do not already make at home. Very, very good. The red cabbage is different (slightly) than Danish style but very close to mine. Restaurant closes at 7pm as most of the town closes up early. If you want to eat later,... More

We stopped here for a quick bite before heading out to the wineries. It was unremarkable overall. We ordered the french dip and the burger. It seems understaffed even though it was the last day of Danish days. Service was slow and we wound up going inside to hunt down someone to whom we could pay our check.

Another good experience in Solvang. Sat outside on the small patio for lunch. The décor is nothing spectacular so you really have to be here for the food and for beer drinkers they do have some German Drafts and some pretty heavy Belgian imports . We both tried the plate with small portions of 5 different sausages including some of... More

We went here rather late on Labor Day. The tourists had headed home, not much was open in town. This restaurant and one other seemed to be it. So we tried it and it was very good. Lots of sausage and meatballs - but very tasty and the wait staff was friendly and attentive. Had lots of restaurants be open,... More

The food was ok but I was expecting more, more German beer and food choices, décor was a failure! Sorry folks!!

We stopped by on Wednesday evening, just prior to the Solvang theater performance. We could see that most tables were full so we sat inside. We decided to order soup and salad, an order we thought would be easy and quick to fill. It became very apparent that not only was this place busy, but the staff of three (one... More

We had previously eaten in Solvang and had fabulous brats and saurkraut. We expected to get this at this restaurant also. However, we went here for dinner on a Wednesday evening and the service was so so so very slow. So slow, I must repeat. Waited to put in order, waited for food, and then waited for silverware to actually... More

Stopped here for what we were told was the best brat. It was ok, not great, not bad. We had a phenomenal brat in Leavenworth and were hoping for something like it here. It had flavor, but not a lot, was not very big and came with a side of potato salad that I loved but my husband hates (strong... More

We stopped in here just on a whim & I was so glad we did! Service was excellent. We sat inside but the patio seating looked really enjoyable. I had the sausage samplier which was delicious. I wasn't crazy about the side of sauerkraut with oregano but my mom loved it. Different strokes... However, I did like to red cabbage!!... More
