It's so odd that we cannot drive through Solvang without our car stopping here. This has been going on for decades with several different cars too. We can't explain it! Sooooooo each time, since we're in front of the restaurant, we go inside and order Abelskievers, three round donut like treats with raspberry sauce and ice cream that melt in... More

We went here for the Ebelskivers and were not disappointed. They served us freshly made with jam and powdered sugar... they were tasty. This was the only item we ordered.

Went for late lunch. The place looks and feels Danish. Clean. Service is quick and pleasant. The food is tasty but not freshly cooked. We saw our plates coming out of the microwave. it could be because it was 3pm and the chef could be resting i dont know.

If this is the restaurant next to the Red Viking I am thinking of the right place...if not disregard. they have a great Reuben Sandwich on toasted rye. I like the authentic old Solvang and this place fits the bill.

The dinner was adequate...I actually don't even remember the dinner...which means it was good enough to not leave a bad memory, but the staff was phenomenal! She suggested the Aebleskiver. I don't indulge in sweets/treats very often, but we decided to enjoy the specialty. It was perfection! They were amazing and when split, just enough to get a nice treat... More

We stopped by Solvang on our way up North and had to stop in at Solvang Restaurant and get some yummy aebleskivers. Love that they have a walk up window. These are a little slice of heaven! Love the jam and powdered sugar on top! A must when visiting Solvang!

We enjoyed ableskivers while walking around the town and window shopping. The only thing that was irritating was that get wanted to charge us for a cup of water.

Stopped here for breakfast on our way up the coast. Solvang is really an early morning treat. We tried the apple pancake balls and they were just delicious. Service was friendly and quick and our cup of coffee was great!

We went here on the recommendation of the Visitor's Center. It was very busy, but the service was great. I ordered the "Adult Grilled Cheese" b/c cheese grilled in a sandwich is ALWAYS delicious. I kid you not.... BEST grilled cheese EVER. My husband tasted my sandwich and immediately regretted his choice (even though it was good too!). It had... More
