Have to try the Ebelskivers

We went in just to try the Ebelskivers. Service was good and the Ebelskivers were great. Would have them again and will. Bought a pan to try to make our own.

Very tasty breakfast. Rye toast that I actually ate...tender, buttery, not dry. Ham and cheese (should have asked for the tiltsen!) omelet that was also tender and tasted of real eggs...not the overcooked, tough and bland omelet I usually find in restaurants. Tried the aebelskivers and loved them....jam and all. Very rich and dense, but a fun way to eat... More

The inside décor looks like a German Hofbrau. The place needed some German music. Very disappointed in the limited selection of beer. Wine was generic San Joaquin Valley (CA) plonk. We were there for lunch. Ordered different German entrees. Quality was okay ….. nothing to do cartwheels.

This place is always busy in the mornings! But the food is always great when we go. My husband always like to get a serving of ebelskivers. My favorite is the Eggs benedict!

I like this place. I bring my visitors here for breakfast because they have the classics, and some Danish dishes. Nothing over the top. It's very warm and cozy inside, mostly booth seating. The service is ALWAYS great. My favorite are the danish pancakes (as opposed to buttermilk). They are thin but thicker than crepes. The owner is almost always... More

We went here for breakfast and abelskievers. I'd advise asking for the jam on the side. Rest of breakfast was great, only marred by Log Cabin syrup on the tables. Oh well.

Had breakfast here. It was packed but everyone was happily eating their meal. The menu is varied and the food was great. The Aebleskivers were hot and fresh, but a little too sweet for me. Interesting to try though. The atmosphere is good, really Skandinavian.

If you want the real thing, you must go to the Solvang Restaurant for Aebleskivers. They have a giant copper aebleskiver cook-top and make them fresh. They also offer their own mix and pans, as well as an instructional DVD. Gus was very informative about the restaurant and some of the items on the menu. The Danish sausage is mild... More

We came here for breakfast. The food was reasonable priced and tasty. Our server was friendly, prompt, and accommodating. The restaurant had a Viking type theme which fit into the style of the town. There is a counter as well as booths to sit in. I didn't try any of their Danish food but wish that I had. They are... More
