I had a Monte Kristo sandwich and it was the best I've ever had. Service was good too! Decor made you feel like a bit of Denmark.

Four of us ate here last night and we all loved our meals. I had the duck done the Danish way with apples and prunes served with gravy, tiny red potatoes and red cabbage. Wonderful! The others had Wiener schnitzel and they were also well pleased. The owner came and spoke to us. We had a lovely evening

I highly doubt any of the servers or cook has been to Denmark. As an originally from there, I tried not to be too hard on the place, but I really think they could have done better. The frikadeller and medisterpølse was average, and had a weird Middle East taste to it. Not the authentic stuff. And the flæskesteg (oven... More

Amazing Monte Cristo sandwiches! Service was very slow. We would still go back for those sandwiches though.

We went there for lunch and got the pate and the meat balls. The pate was slightly more sweet than it typically is and the meat balls a little more bland, but it gives a genuine example of what danish food is like. After 7 weeks in the US this was a nice lunch reminding us of home. Recomandable if... More

Nice ambiance in this local restaurant with great food. I always choose the buffet which offers a delicious assortment of delicacies that will excite your palate. In particular the cauliflower with mustard sauce is a favorite. Also the red cabbage with mashed potatoes and gravy is quite tasty. The marinated sliced pickles, potato salad, three bean salad, and of course... More

Went here twice while in Solvang. The first time it was for dinner. Even thought it was not crowded (only a few couples there), the service was very slow. We could hear the staff talking in another room but not waiting on the clients! The second time it was just for desert. Different waitstaff but same result. Food was good... More

The atmosphere was pleasant and quiet which is just what we were looking for after a long day of wine tasting and shopping. We stuck with American menu choices so I can't speak to the Scandinavian dishes but the food we ordered was great and I would definitely go back!

The worst food we had in two weeks of vacation. If you must eat here, stay away from the meats altogether and stick with the seafood. Cured herring 3 ways was actually quite unique and delicious as was the draft, Danish style beer. The service was good but I'm glad I turned down the offer of the all you can... More
