I was so looking forward to the Danish pancakes. When they arrived they were barely warm. I'm sure they cook up several ahead of time. By the time I was half way through they were cold. Service was also pretty poor. The waitresses would single task oriented. They would also not fill your coffee if you were not in there... More

We opted out of the free b'fast at Hadsten House and came here for pancakes. We had Eggs, ham and the Danish Pancakes with blueberries. All was really good and I have no complaints. I couldn't help but overhear the woman next to us rave about the pancakes. I guess it's a matter of taste, but I prefer aebleskiver (sp?)... More

We had to wait about 45 minutes to have brunch around 11am at Paulas, but it was worth it. You name your favorite breakfast/brunch dish - it's likely to be on the menu. Service is super efficient, warm and friendly. Food is "average plus" but the atmosphere and value make up for any deficiencies. Not for a romantic dinner, but... More

All the reviewers raved about the pancakes here and we needed an early breakfast (this is the only place open early) so we thought we'd try the pancakes. Absolutely nothing special. Still, if you need an early breakfast, this is the place.

Really tasty food served here! But do try the pancakes, which are a local legend. (Note that I knew I was in for a treat when I realized that most of the customers in the place were local residents!)

It is always worth a stop and a wait to have Paula's Danish Pancakes! Really enjoy eating here, and it is always busy. We prefer sitting outside is the patio area. I think being inside is pretty noisy - but great food is just that.

Was there early on a Saturday morning, Wait was not too bad to be seated. Must have pancakes, Sausage was ok. Plenty of seating outdoors and they turn on the heaters for you.

My wife and I pulled up on the day after Christmas and walked up to about 40 people standing around the entrance. Expecting the worst we were told an hour wait for inside or we could sit outside with no wait. We took it and sat outside. The place only has a few tables indoors. Outside seating has heaters and... If you don't get there early you will have to wait for at least 45 minutes to 2 hours to get seated. There is inside/outside seating. Food value is great and boy is it ever tasty. We always visit Paula's at least once for breakfast every time we go to Solvang.

During our vacation last week we stopped at Paula's pancake house. Though the name has "pancake" int it but they have a great choices of food. The ambiance of this place is very cool and the service was excellent. They made sure that our food was ready in few minutes as we had only little time. Overall we enjoyed our... More
