According to everyone in the know in Solvang, this is the place to go for a hearty breakfast. I had the Danish pancakes topped with whipped cream & strawberries and thick cut bacon. Excellent food! I'd recommend getting there early to avoid the crowd...and there will be a crowd. We were there on a non-holiday Monday and it was packed.

Lot's of great breakfast choices. Good cup of coffee. Usually pretty busy, so be prepared to wait for a table.

Get there early (before 7:30) if you don't want to wait a little bit on the weekends. They have the best eggs benedict. Also try their Danish pancakes. Wait staff is extremely fast and friendly.

So Yummy!!! I had the omelet and my hubs had the pancakes, which were by far the best ever! Make plans to have breakfast at Paula's.

We went on a quick trip up to Solvang and headed straight for Paula's Pancakes. We ordered the Danish pancakes with blueberries and cream on top. So delicious and so thin. I liked the thin pancakes over normal pancakes as you don't feel too full after. We sat right at the counter and were served immediately. Great staff, fast service,... More

I have stopped at this restaurant twice now. Each was awesome and is now a place I will visit every time I'm in Solvang. this restaurant does breakfast right! From simple eggs to decked out waffles to fresh squeezed orange juice.... This is truly a Solvang classic. Don't let the long lines out front scare you away. BE patient! It's... More

We were expecting this to be an Ihop kind of place with basic, but kind of lame breakfast offerings, so we were pleasantly surprised by the varied menu and high-quality offerings. We ended up visiting the place twice! Our server was incredibly friendly and accommodating. The meals were fresh and homemade (e.g., they served REAL oatmeal, and had true hollandaise... More

This is why I love using Trip Advisor. I find the best places to stay and dine. Okay, so we ate at Paul's Pancake House. This place is quaint and cozy. The service was really fast and efficient. I can see this place getting really busy on the weekends. I ordered the Danish pancakes and the Danish sausage, the pancakes... More

My wife and I ate here on the saturday morning after Valentine's day. So, needless to say, it was packed. However, the manager said he had some seats available at the counter, so we jumped right on them. The food was amaizing, the dutch pancakes are out of this world good. And the service was great too. When we left,... More
