You must try the Danish pancakes...they are a huge hit here and quite delicious. It can be crowded by 8:30 in the morning so get there early or plan on a wait....it's worth it. Not fancy...kind of 'old school'....I always stop at Paula's when I'm in Solvang.

Being from abroad we were really looking forward to Waffles and we found Paula's Pancake House and all I can say is they were delicious. They were big portions but I refused to share with my husband, so we had one each, yummy. All the food looked good and the pancakes looked as delicious as the Waffles. Would recommend that... More

Loved the pancakes!! Husband and I shared. Large portions and quick service. Always a wait but worth it. Went twice in 3 days. Friends had omelet and chicken fried steak and all was great.

How do I know? Because we have lived in Solvang for 25 years and that is where we go. There are no reservations and they are ALWAYS very busy. Put your name on the waiting list. It generally doesn't take too long to acquire a table. There is no other restuarant in Solvang (other than the Belguin Cafe) on Coppenhagen... More

Great place to get a full breakfast that tastes good. The Swedish pancakes are so yummy. Fresh squeezed orange juice is a delight. The atmosphere reminds you of Grandmas house.

The danish pancakes and sausage breakfast is the best here. The pancakes are very thin, fluffy, and the perfect texture. The sausage has a great flavor and it has a little snap to it. Delicious! Be patient if there is a line. It is definitely worth the wait. All food at Paula's is great.

If you are staying in Solvang, this is THE go to place for breakfast. We visited twice on our recent stay and both morning’s we had a fantastic breakfast. The staff are super friendly and helpful and on hand to answer any questions you have about their extensive breakfast menu. I would recommend the pancakes. They are light and fluffy... More

This restaurant is a travelers favorite as there always seems to be a line out front. I tried the Danish pancakes and the wife had a omelet. both were great and the fresh squeezed orange juice was great. The danish pancakes are thinner that the ones you normally have and have a malt taste I found enjoyable. Service was great... More
