Fabulous place for breakfast. I really wanted eggs rather than pancakes and they did not disappoint. Great service and food - recommended!

Hot damn. Dems some damn good cakes. Exceeded my expectations. Busy place but very well staffed. Waitresses are dressed in Danish short traditional dresses. Very cute.

Paula's Pancake House is the Solvang breakfast spot, so unless you're super early expect crows. Food was filling and good. My BF and I are foodies, so while the pancakes were amazing the eggs and fixings were quite mainstream.

Although the wait on a Friday morning was a little unexpected, once seated we could see why. We chose to take a seat at the counter which was seriously fine. The waitstaff was attentive and quick with the coffee refills. My husband and I both had the blueberry pancakes and they were seriously delicious. They didn't even need the overly... More

We were undecided on where to have lunch and having a 10 year old kid with us, any place with 'pancake' in it's name would just be hard to resist. We had pancakes, waffles with crispy bacon (traveler's choice) and omelette. I was happy with what I ordered. And based on the empty plates on our table, I think it's... More

As my boyfriend is a massive pancake fan, we had many visits to various restaurants for pancakes. The ones here were ok but nothing special. We did however have the buttermilk pancakes and not their speciality Danish pancakes so maybe they would have been even better. The selection is great for breakfast, there is a lot more on offer than... More

I have said it before, my first order in a new restaurant is a Patty Melt if available. A Patty Melt requires a little more thought than a burger and fries. Sorry Paula's Pancake House, you didn't make the list. The meat was bone dry, the Rye Bread was toaster heated it appeared instead of grilled as it should be.... More

Great food, although I felt it was very expensive - 3 people & bill was $41 for breakfast. But in their defense CA is expensive, we figure we paid about 1/3 more for each person's meal in CA than we do in our home state. I'm not a fan of their prices, but the food & service was great.

We needed a place to have a delicious breakfast in hopes to start a fabulous vacation and followed this site's advice. I was really disappointment by the up keeping of this place, the white lace curtains look brown and the carpet is so old it has a musty scent. I understand trying to keep the essence do country style feel... More
