Worth the Wait!!

Sunday... 4th of July weekend... so busy! But well worth it!! Eggs benidict for me and danish pancakes for my husband. He loved them. Best eggs benidict I've had. Went with a group of gals for lunch, I shared and spinach salad with my friend since they did not serve a 1/2 salad. Most times Salads are so big you need to split, not this one. For the price i though it would be better. My Mother-in-law had the BBQ Beef and it did not have alot of meat.... More

I hate waiting to be seated at a restaurant, especially when I have a 500 mile drive ahead of me but... This place is/was jammed packed and it is obvious why it is once you see the food! I had the danish sausage with Halvarti cheese omelette. and one of the side dish choices was a fruit salad. The omelette... More

The eggs and corned beef are very good as are the Danish pan cakes. It's a bit pricey but they do take good care of you. You'll like the dishes. Bring an appetite.

Showed up around 10am and the place was packed. Greeted by a friendly host who took my name and we waited maybe 10 minutes to be seated. Julie was our server, she was friendly, answered a few questions and took our order. My daughter had the pancakes. They were light, airy and delicious, a good portion. She could only finish... More

Pancakes were delicious! Service was prompt and curtious. I would definitely go there again to eat on next visit.

After all reviews I have read thought I would give this place a try. I was a little disappointed. Didn't mind the 10 min. Wait. While I saw few empty dirty tables, maybe under staff but notice worker just standing around. I think since it was just the 2 of us, they just wanted larger party to seat. Which two... More

Paula's is another one of those iconic Solvang restaurants that tourists should visit for breakfast and/or lunch. Always busy but they'll seat you and serve you a great meal quickly and with a friendly smile! I love their Cobb salad. Everything they serve is tasty.

I visited this place with my family and it is a cute spot and friendly for kids. I ordered the French toast, which in my opinion was too eggy. However, my husband ordered the Danish pancakes and that was good. I would stick with the Danish pancakes and skip everything else including the Danish sausage.

Great food and service! Whenever I hear someone is visiting Solvang I recommend this place. It's very cute, quaint, and the food is great. The portions were quite large. The few times I've been here there's been quite a wait but there are a lot of shops to wander around around in while you wait.
