Paula's is a local institution. The food (order the Danish pancake) was wonderful. The coffee was hot and not too strong. Service was speedy. The fresh oj was amazing. A warning for the impatient: on weekend, come early or be prepared for a long wait.

The Danish pancakes are thin, very light, very large and delicious. Even though there were many other places we wanted to try we went back for another breakfast and I had more pancakes. Everything else was excellent and while it was very busy they were fast, courteous, and even helped direct us to other places to eat or visit in... More

We went to Paula's on 7/19 and showed up around 10:30 and as the other reviews state they were very busy. We waited about 30 minutes and were seated inside at the counter. The place is very dated and definitely needs a facelift. As for the food I had the swedish pancakes and they sure were good. My husband had... More

Had lunch here today and the food is really good!! Service is excellent from the hostess to the wait staff!! The food is fresh and well made. The menu has more than pancakes; the waffles were excellent - crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside!! The sausages and bacon are very tasty and so are the sandwiches!! There is... More

A little pricey even for the kids menu but after all you are in a tourist town. Food was prepared as requested and very good.

If you have ever been to Solvang, your trip has to include breakfast at Paula's Pancakes. Located right on the main street, the patio is the place to enjoy your breakfast. We have eaten there now a few times and have enjoyed each time. It can be a bit aggravating fighting off the bees that also love the food. I... More

I liked the pancakes and the burger. I like the sausages and bought two tubs for my consumption at home. They sell them frozen so it is okay and comes with ice pack if you want. Service is okay but they would not sit you if you are not complete in your party. The bathroom is very small but will... More

This quaint restaurant in cute Solvang has a large menu and daily specials which worked well for our family of 4. As one might expect with its name breakfast is served all day. After enjoying a meal here we walked next door to an interesting bakery and enjoyed a walk around the town. There is convenient parking nearby.

Great Danish pancakes. Terrible owner. Dining room not air conditioned; too hot during summer. Opt for patio dining..
