I ate here with a friend based on a recommendation from a local when we were visiting Solvang. The food was great, but the place seemed small. Maybe because the sat us inn the corner. I would've given this place a 4 or 5 except for the fact that they overcharged my card almost DOUBLE what the bill was. Since... More

My wife and I decided on a whim to visit Solvang. We walked around town to the different touristy places and, of course, I got very hungry. It was about 3:00 pm. We were in a mood for Italian and one of the clerks at a shop we visited suggested Cecco Ristorante. It wasn't crowded as we visited Solvang on... More

We were staying for only 1 night in the area, so gave Cecco a try. Were told it was a good choice and eventually found it. It was very busy with an extremely loud woman on one table, We did have to wait a while before we were served but we had pizza and pasta and caprese salad which we... More

We have been to Solvang many times and always struggle with where to have dinner locally. Well weren't we pleasantly surprised to find Cecco. Upon arrival we thought it was a simple pizza place but after we were taken to the seating area and looked at the menu we were pleasantly surprised. We decided to try the "Special" spaghetti bolognaise--... More

Upon the recommendation of other TA reviewers and the waiter at another restaurant we chose Cecco for dinner tonight. BEWARE! The menu has changed. Many items you see on the website menu and even TA menu are no longer available. Everything I was looking forward to is no longer available. No bruchetta, No caprese salad, No wild boar meatballs. So... More

We arrived in Solvang in the late afternoon but the town still had lots of foot traffic. About 8 PM we headed out for a dinner or drinks--mind you, it was Saturday night, too--and the place was now deserted! Well, the whole town had practically rolled up the carpet. None of the shops were open and very few bars, wine... More

One of the staff at Succulent recommended this restaurant for us to go to Tuesday night, as Succulent is closed on Tues. what a nice treat this was! We went early with our 13 month old grandson. Staff was accommodating and attentive. The food was terrific! We started with a beet salad, and the Cecco salad, both were delicious. Three... More

Excellent authentic fine Italian cuisine in Solvang. It is pricey, but so is everything in Solvang. The tortellini and the pizzas are fantastic. Order with a glass of Chianti or Grenache. Fresh bread is wonderfully crunchy on the crust and soft and delicious inside. Best to sit on the patio -- there are heaters at night. If they run out... More

Why eat Italian food when in a Danish town and I'm Swedish? I don't know why but am so glad we did! We went here at the recommendation of our hotel concierge and were warmly welcomed at the door, seated immediately and had fantastic service the entire time there. I ordered the evenings special and my wife had the carbonara,... More
