One of Solvang's cutest

I come here frequently. They did our wedding cake 6 years ago and did an amazing job. I get my birthday cake here every year and it's my favorite place to stop for a little treat and coffee. The decor is feels very European, and the staff is ALWAYS friendly. Love it!

In my younger years, a stop in Solvang was required on a trip up the coast. Those waffles would stay with you all the way to Morro Bay. I didn't notice in years gone by that it was anything but charmingly different, but this time it did seem like it was approaching the "over the top" level. It's still fun,... More

A great little bakery with lovely old deco in a great town. Delicious pastries as food as those in Denmark. Great customer service. Would return.

The place is situated near the USPS & a windmill at the corner street. They have donuts, croissants, cookies, cakes, pastries and everything looks very good! Yummy. Souvenir items are on sale too, if you buy a mug, you'll have free coffee. We had donuts, danish pastries, cookies, & french macaroon. The macaroon is superb! Highly recommended.

We were delighted to find...again...The Solvang Bakery! We thought it had gone out of business a couple years ago, but discovered that they had just moved down the block! You can expect all the bakeries in Solvang to be over-priced and Solvang Bakery is no exception. But, while in Solvang, you have to indulge in Danish pastries and take some... More

My family loves this bakery whenever we are in Solvang. The storefront and the inside are adorable. Best of all the treats inside are just as delicious. We ordered quite a few things and they were quite patient with us. Their baked goods ranged from pastries, brownies, cupcakes, etc. So much yummy goodness to choose from. They also carry some... I stopped into the bakery for an afternoon latte and a cookie. The almond crescent was too sweet for me. It tasted like I was eating straight sugar and almond paste. It didn't have the consistency of a cookie. After a few sips, my latte was thrown out. It was really bad coffee with no frothy, steamed milk on top.... More

Morning breakfast with a great choice of Danish pastry and wonderful giant chocolate croissants, Excellent coffee and hot chocolate. The window of the bakery were filled with beautifully filled with gingerbread houses and festive cakes.

We got conflicting opinions about visiting Solvang. Some liked the quaintness of this Danish heritage village. Others just regarded it as a tourist trap. However we felt it was worth a diversion and a quick Danish pastry, cookies, cakes and coffee and a rest stop. It really has to be seen to be believed although it does have added lashings... More

Over priced pastries ($6 for a Danish pastry). Heavy on gooky icing. Clueless on how to make cappuccino. This place only exists because it fits in with fudge shops and stores selling babies bids that say "I love grandma." If it were in Denmark, it'd be out if business in an hour. The icing on the cake: two employees of... More
