there'a a lot of bakeries in Solvang to chose from but this little gem was great. Lots of people coming and going was a good sign there was something up. Big selection, tasty samples and the coffee and chocolate macaroons were just the jolt we need to keep going

I'm not much of a sweet eater but if you're going to eat sweets, try the delicious cream puffs at The Solvang Bakery. Nice atmosphere, tables inside to eat, really nice staff and, most of all, a huge cream puff that that not only tasted great but was pretty too.

We stopped in here early in our stay in Solvang to get some breakfast/snack goodies. The éclair, cinnamon roll and a couple of cheese Danish did hit the spot when we ate them. But we tried a couple other places later in the week, and by comparison, the Solvang Bakery goods weren't nearly as tasty and were a bit more... More

With a plethora of bakeries in town, The Solvang Bakery stands out. The selection of danishes (or is it dani?) and pastries is outstanding. The ones we had (lemon and raspberry) were delicious. Lattes were decent. The only reason I give it a 4rating instead of 5 is that it is very pricey for what you get--2 lattes and 2... More

I love marzipan! The Solvang Bakery does excellent danishes, cookies, logs, bear claws with marzipan, and LOTS of it! The marzipan is not syrupy sweet, but very almondy. Cookies are dense and buttery. Their coffee is good too. Prices are around $2 - $2.50 a piece, but it's SO worth it! Their items freeze well. Bring an ice box, and... More

Even though there is a lot of competition in this village for Danishes and other pastries, I thought this one was the best. We tried a few others but this one had the charm and selection in a small country atmosphere that adds to the experience. They were also offering a muffin that was a delicious special mixture that the... More
