Exactly that. The starters - figs and cheese board - were very nice but the menu was really rather limited. A lot of red meat and the vegetarian option (notice the singular here) was fairly tasteless quinoa which is what people make when they don't know what to try with vegetarians. Would get 4 stars if it wasn't so expensive... More

We knew this was an expensive "high-end" restaurant when we made a reservation for a birthday dinner. Contrary to reports of very poor service, we had a cordial welcome, nice escort through the restaurant, and prompt service by a waitress. Unfortunately, and as is found repeated over and over in reviews of this restaurant, and even with very few diners... More

We stopped twice for happy hour. An eclectic group of people gather at the bar. The bartender was very knowledgeable; whipped up the most amazing cocktails. The happy hour menu was very good, roast beef sliders were delicious. Highly recommend.

The food and service and atmosphere are great. Only the lighting could go down a bit. But I like it on the darker side. Very good service and a good menu. We got to meet the chef and kitchen staff are very friendly. A good night had.

Food was just not very good. Out of 7 entrees, 4 were fairly tastless and the pastrami short ribs were uneatable. The quinuo entree was not only bland but unappetizing. Service was extremely slow even though the restaurant was not crowded. Maybe kitchen had an off night but we would not return and would not recommend

Great food and friendly service. We had the Tri-tip and it was cooked just right as well as flavorful. I would recommend this place to anyone.

We went to Root 246 shortly after it opened as a Bradley Ogden project. It was innovative and fantastic. Four years later and it is a mere shadow of it's former self. Indifferent service, limited menu options (read meat-eaters who visit native-run casinos) and and overall lack of quality. Would not recommend.

We went here because it was open and the menu looked interesting. We shared an appetizer, salad, and a main course. It was the right amount of food and everything was excellent. The wines by the glass were great. and our server Janson gave us perfect recommendations. The place is modern and elegant inside with a very nice outside patio.... More

Have dined here in the past and It is always a pleasure. This time we watched the world cup final. Great service, great Martinis(bloody may looked good too) and fun but classy atmosphere! Patios are absolutely beautiful!
