Nice space, nice location

Went to java depot for a meetup. The location is good, the staff pleasant and the atmosphere is really relaxed. Had a cappuccino and liked it.

My wife and I grew up in North County and spent many hours talking and sharing what was going in our lives at Java. The environment at Java is excellent for getting together and hanging out with friends. We don't live in the area anymore, but every time we visit the area we stop in for a cup of Java.

I really liked the relaxed atmosphere and the juice and smoothie bar next door (same building). I had the coffee which was good, but the breakfast burrito was only ok.

our server was very friendly, but the coffee was rather weak and our dessert was old and dry. not worth the money we paid for it.

While looking for Starbuck's we were guided to Java Depot. We ordered an iced tazo chai equivalent and a cafe mocha. They were having problems with their CC scanner the day we were there and we tried entering our info for emails (we will be back in that area soon) but it didn't work either. The coffee and tea were... More

Folks were friendly, but they seemed a bit disorganized and it took a long time to get my salad, which was not at all great.

Years before Naked Cafe, Zinc, Claires etc opened their doors in Solana Beach, Java Depot was the place to go for coffee and good food. I used to study there when I was in college and I loved the atmosphere. I still enjoy their outdoor seating area and their veggie bagels and breakfast croissants are excellent. In fact, when I... The Java Depot was among the very first coffee houses in the area. It's ambience remains terrific. It has a loyal clientele; however their coffee and pastries pale in comparison to just about anyplace in the area. The food from the juice bar, however, is quite good.

We had lunch today at Java Depot. To be honest, we would have never have found out about this place had it not been for a Living Social deal that we bought a few days ago. That's the best thing about these Groupon and Living Social deals... We explore and find so many places we would have never discovered without... More
