Surf style pizza

This pizza place has a VERY casual atmosphere. They serve their own beer and wine. Bartender samples it with you like it's her first time. Funny! Games for kids to play. Long picnic tables and small individual tables (some outdoors) for seating. Expect a delay if crowded as they appear to make... read more

We stopped here on our first night in San Diego. It was very busy and we had to loiter around for a table, but once we sat down, ate our great pizza and drank the great beer they have on tap -- it was worth the wait.

We love the pizza at Pizza Port -- the crusts are really great, with a touch of sweetness -- and the microbrewery beers are the perfect accompaniment. Has a nice youngish vibe, but us 50-somethings don't feel out of place. Long tables so sometimes you can meet some interesting neighbors at your table. A great place for pizza.

This is a quirky place with a young crowd and a fine reputation. But it didn't live up to its laurels. The beer was excellent including an IPA and red ale that met the mark as a good microbrew should do. On the restaurant side there are problems. Perhaps the B team was working on the Sunday night we visited... More

Best pizza in the area, fresh and flavorful beers, some brewed on site. It can be loud, but that works well for me. It is local, surf oriented, and can have long lines. A great place to meet friends, and spend a couple of hours catching up.

We always love a good pizza, but unfourtnately we didn't get it there. The pizza was very plain, no flavor in sauce and was dry, and even my kids at ages 7, and 9 did not enjoy it. We do not live here but vacation in this area every year and luckly found other pizza places we can enjoy in... More

Our family has been going there since it opened. Great pizza and terrific micro brewery. Too crowded most of the time and very noisy but we continue to go for the pizza. Even when our grown son comes into town he has to go back there with us and friends.

Pizza is just so plain. Sauce is so bland and the crust is horrible. When it is said SOCAL has bad pizza they mean this place. So loud and disorganized but they must think it is part of their ambiance but it's just lazy organization and service
