I love this place...I've been here for breakfast and dinner. The food adds a great twist to the ordinary...like 'pineapple upside down pancakes' (my favorite) and the 'Not so Fish & Chips'. Fresh ingredients, creative menu, and outdoor dining make this a very good restaurant. We sat outside on a nice sunny morning and had a memorable late breakfast with the family. Though our waitperson was a little challenged, the quality of the food is outstanding and the portions are huge. I can't wait to return for dinner and drinks. more

Every time we go down to the San Diego area we make a point to have breakfast at the Beach Grass Cafe. Their menu is really intriguing and different. We've eaten there 4 or 5 times now and can't say enough about it. more

On our last visit to San Diego, we stayed in Solana Beach and while walking stumbled onto the "Beach Grass Cafe". I had a wonderful latte and we had a great breakfast. They had some unusual offerings and a great atmosphere. more
