If you are a health nut, you will love this place. They do a great job using locally sourced ingredients and you can tell they put effort into their meals. It's locally owned by nice people and it shows... their staff is all super nice and attentive and look like they like their job. Truth be told, my wife likes... More

We stopped here based on other people's recommendation and it was a great decision. The lemon/ricotta/blueberry pancake was amazing, the scramble was delicious, and the monte cristo was simply a treat...you don't usually see that done well at a lot of places. They have nice outdoor seating though they do allow dogs and there were many of them out so... More

This is our favorite place for breakfast. I love the lobster and salmon omelettes and my wife loves the pancakes. Fresh squeezed juices and dog friendly also.

We were 4 adults, a 4yr old and 2 yr old. The wait staff was very attentive and knew to get the kids orders started before taking the rest of the orders. The food was very good and the portions were generous. Our fare varied from pancakes to omlets - all were done to a "T". Even the kids ate... More

Hige, oversized coffees. Very busy on the weekends so be prepared to wait for a table. Extra large meals which were very tasty!

My friends, who live in Solana Beach, took me to the Beach Grass Café for breakfast on Sunday. This place is a real neighborhood gem. There are so many very creative twists on traditional breakfasts, it's hard to choose what to have. The crab cakes were wonderful. I hear the pineapple pancakes are excellent also. There was a 30-40 minute... More

What a treat! Incredibly interesing breakfast menu, full of flavor with great service and prices. If parking on the street is full, look for the driveway and park in back. Plus doggy friendly.

We stop here for breakfast every time we are in town. We always order the pineapple pancakes, but it large so we do the half order. We also love the benedict, chilaquiles, and generous pour for the large mimosa

We were visiting Carlsbad and found this wonderful restaurant for brunch. We waited at least 30min to get a table on a Sunday. It was definitely worth the wait. We were amazed at many choices from breakfast to lunch they offer. We thought the service and food were equally as good. We look forward to coming back again.
