Very good choice for a late lunch. Food was good and so was the service. Del Mar Race Track was in session but we avoided the after-race crowd & traffic.

Just OK, not great. Seafood fresh but expensive. I get better seafood for a cheaper price point in the desert --- odd, isn't it. Will not go back.

The food was very good and they had a wide variety of fresh fish. The wait staff was prompt and friendly.

This very pleasant and popular restaurant offers a good variety of fresh seafood grilled, blackened, sauted, fried, however. The place is in a good location across the street from the Del Mar Track and San Diego Fairgrounds. Parking is very limited, though, so usually valet parking is the best option.

Bustling place. A bit noisy. Decent service. The fish is very fresh and nicely prepared. Hot bread served before the meal. Adequate but not amazing sides with the entrees. A great place to have a casual, well cooked and fresh dinner.

As others have commented - fresh fish is nicely done- nothing special but good. Service was ok- I think the server was on a mission to get through the night and exit as quick as he could.

We live very close to The Fish Market so visit a few times a year. Their clam chowder is excellent and if you're not sure if you want the Boston or Manhattan just ask for half of each and the presentation (and taste) is great. Their fish is so fresh they change the menu twice a day (which is why... More

We went here with a group from work for dinner. Very good selection of fresh seafood dishes. I had the cioppino with the added pasta. It is a lot of food. The waiter warned that the small size was a large and the large was very big. I went with the small, and it was plenty.

We stopped in for happy hour on a Friday. The Fish Market is located right next to our timeshare, so we always dine here when we visit. We ordered a couple of appetizers off of the happy hour menu: the Ginger Lime Prawns for me, the Miyagi Oysters for my husband. We also had the King Crab Salad, skewered Tiger... More

We were there for dinner. Crowded space, excellent service. We had fresh grilled fish and grilled shrimps. The side dishes were a little bit less and it was not so tasty. The environment was noisy, the chairs were not so comfortable. The fishs were fine. The price may be little bit high compared to the size of the dishes. But... More
