Wife and I went here based on reviews for Mexican. Wow! Pretty impressive Mexican food. My wife had the enchiladas. I had the milanesa. Surprised to see that in a menu. Not too often do I see milanesa. If you haven't heard of it it's breaded sirloin tip steak. It was a little more done than I like it, but... More

We visit our daughter who lives in Simi and always come here. Not much to look at from the outside but everything else makes up for it. Really authentic cooking, so hard to find in California these days and some pretty unique dishes too .

The day I went to Palapa's, the server was inattentive and slow to bring my food to me, even though the restaurant was not very crowded. My nachos were cold and soggy from sitting too long. The albondigas soup had a weak broth, few vegetables, and giant chunks of potatoes with the skin still attached. One of the worst tasting... More

I've tried several Mexican restaraunts in Simi Valley and this one is the best by far. It's small and right next to a Subway sandwich shop, but don't let that bother you. Once inside, you will be warmly greated, seated, and served chips & salsa. The margaritas are big and tasty. I always get fish or street tacos. The fish... More

Little hole in the wall place near Vons. Great value and food pretty good! My girlfriend and I come for their mango margarita which is huge and share! They make it with mango purée and it is WAY good! Their fish tacos are pretty good. Overall, good Mexican food for a great value!

We enjoyed our lunch here in Simi Valley. The service was fast and friendly, and the prices reasonable. Yummy horchata--not too sweet. Portions are large and the rice and beans especially good. Family of six (all grown ups) ate for $60, and that included everyone getting drinks. We would eat there again.

This is a small place in a shopping plaza but the food is awesome. they don't have a lot of tables and there was only one waiter but the food was excellent and we didn't have to wait. Prices were reasonable. Good for families!
