Nico and Cassi are both Greek Americans. Wonderful people who employ their handsome grandson. The food has always been excellently flavorful and authentic each and every time I've eaten there. Ask for a chicken pita " JoAnna" style ( hummus, Greek dressing, and feta added). Bring cash. They don't take credit cards. (No bar)

My wife & I traveled to Greece on our honeymoon and had the privilege of eating authentic food. The Greek House Cafe is the closest Greek food we've had here in Simi Valley, California and is in my opinion the best food in the local area. The menu offers something for everyone. It's a small family run business in an... More

Best place for a casual lunch. The food is wonderful! This cafe was recommended to us and we will return anytime we are in Simi Valley.

I really like this hole in the wall, I thought about not posting a review here because it is a gem of a place to eat and I don't want it to get too crowded but I have to do the right thing. If you like greek food it is a must.

Had lunch today and the place was packed. I found out the trick to better service is to call ahead to place your order (805-955-9899) so you won't have to wait so long. Everything is made fresh at the time you order so it can take a few minutes. I prefer to use the carry-out service because the seating area... More

Don 't let the very small size of this casual little neighborhood cafe scare you away because it has fabulous food. The mousaka is the best I've ever eaten. The stuffed grape leaves are delicious. It is very crowded and one orders at the counter and picks up their food at the counter. No beer or wine; just good food.

My family and I have been coming here for years. It's a little whole in the wall and the ambiance is not much, but the food is simply excellent! We recently tried Daphne's and were sorely disappointed, their food can't even compare to the quality of The Greek House Cafe. I have tried nearly all their dishes and everything is... More

Here's another one of those off-the-beaten-path places. It's well worth the find though. The food's fresh. The owner puts a lot of it on the throw-away plates. The prices are great, which makes it always crowded when we go for lunch. I love the fresh hummus and warm pita bread.

My husband and I decided to eat here based on TA Reviews. It is not far from the freeway and don't let the location next to AutoZone deter you. I had the vege plate and my husband had the gyro plate, both delicious. There was way too much food so it was nice to have leftovers. Make sure to bring... More
