I've been eating at many Mediterranean restaurants as of late, and this one was pretty solid. However, I did find the price to be slightly higher than I thought most people would pay for lunch. That shouldn't be a deterrent to try it again, so honestly, you can't go wrong here. Would try again, but there's another place down the... More

Omar and crew have created a great family owned business. They love what they do, and it shows in the food and the service. Every meal has been wonderful, made with super fresh ingredients, never oily or greasy. We come here often with family or friends, or just the two of us. I recommend the Salmon Shwarma Salad: lovely greek... More

We eat here about 2-3 times a month. The small family special has everything - enough for 4 people for a very reasonable price. Salad, shwarma (beef, chicken or both), kebob, rice, and falafels. We always order a hummus with pita to go with it. Lots of pita! This is a family run business with the same staff - they... More

We took our friends for the first time. We had the Salmon Shawarma and they had the Lamb. All was wonderful. The gentleman that waited on us was excellent and very knowledgeable. Great experience. We plan to go back as often as we can.

Omar, the owner of this restaurant, really pays attention to detail and cares about the quality of the food he is making as well as the community. Everything they serve is top notch. The meats are quality and and flavor is AMAZING!!!! They also help the community in many ways including handing out food to the homeless one Sunday a... More

I have tried both Alli Baba Cafe's, the Newbury Park , and the Simi location. The Chicken Shwarma is very good. Though I have not tried the soups, I plan to my next visit, because I love soup and have been told they are tasty. It is a very simple cafe style with a few outside tables. It is a fine... More

I heard great things about this place. The owner proactively gives back to the community and that prompted me to give it a try. Service was friendly and the food was very good. I will be back, and am happy to support a small business that shares my philosophy of like and recognizes the importance of helping those who are... More

I had a friend recommend this place and am very grateful for the find. I tried several different dishes and found them all good. Brought back my family and we found the food and service was the same. Highly recommend the food and the staff. They had several vegetarian options that tasted great as well.

Visited this place for lunch after a family member recommended it. We were not disappointed. The food was fresh and delicious and the proportions generous without being overwhelming. Service was great. Cost was reasonable. Great value for money. I am definitely a fan and will no doubt return for more menu sampling during our stay in CA!
