Prices are good, the hummus was excellent

The price was right for lunch if you get the combo dinner plate. They also throw in a salad as well. I also opted for the hummus, so I was full and had some to take back to the hotel as well. Honestly, I prefer Atlas to Ali Baba up the street, as it seems to be slightly more $.... read more

Stopped in here after the Regan Library to have dinner and wait out the rush hour traffic. We had the lamb shank, as suggested by the chef, and the lamb kabob. Very tasty. We also had the homemade ice tea which was excellent and bottomless. My recommendation to all those who live in the Simi Valley / Thousand Oaks area:... More

This is a family-run Persian restaurant and it will not disappoint. I wanted a vegetarian platter, something that was not on their menu, and they created something just for me. The food was delicious, and the service was great. I would highly recommend this restaurant.

My husband and stumbled upon this place on Christmas. We had just gotten back from a trip and didn't feel like cooking and wanted to go somewhere good for Christmas dinner. We are still somewhat new to Simi Valley and have not really been blown away by the food choices. We are so happy we came here. The service was... More

We tried Atlas for the first time recently and were very impressed. The food is delicious, good portions for the price, and the service was amazing. The restuarant is extremeley clean and I liked the open kitchen where we can see the food being prepared.

Went there on a Sunday evening with no reservations and got a nice table right away. Especially enjoyed the lamb dish. Saffron rice was very good.

Family owned & operated, Atlas is a friendly place with cooked to order food. In addition to the usual kebabs, koobiden, etc., they make some interesting and tasty dishes with lamb shanks, rice & veggies. The food is fresh, the presentation nice, the atmosphere comfortable.

I live in Thousand Oaks and a neighbor of mine raved about the food at Atlas. Bottom line: he was right!!! First impression: the restaurant is a good size yet intimate, with crisp white tablecloths and nice decor. The owner Izzy welcomed us and made us feel so comfortable. After finding out it was our first visit he surprised us... More
