Great restaurant, friendly staff, excellent food. 30 min. drive from Donner Lake, well worth it. Our family has been there about 10 times. The food is consistently good and the portions are large. The staff is so friendly you will want to chat for a while. Highly recommended!!!

We tried this place based on the reviews we read and we were not disappointed!! Great service and friendly staff! They food was more than enough!! The amount they serve you, well lets just say you won't leave hungry!! Five stars for food, service, and over the top friendly!!

Such a casual, fun and comfortable atmosphere!! More like eating at your favorite aunt's house. We felt welcome and a part of the community. They offered a very diverse menu. We loved Donner Lake Kitchen, which is now Sierraville Kitchen, a short 30 minute drive from Truckee.
Great breakfast, if you love Huevos Rancheros this is the place to go...at least that is what my husband and many other people say. I like their french toast, eggs and sausage. The food is consistent, the staff is very friendly and attentive...
