Anselmo Vineyards cloaks 15 acres of the ranch and includes a first class wine tasting room. We proudly serve three reds, a bold Cabernet Sauvignon, a full bodied Merlot and a smooth blend we call Majorette. Our wines are always served along with good conversation and fabulous fine dining experience, and complemented by views of sprawling green pastures.

Outstanding!

We went on a Thursday night, which is pizza night. We elected to be seated out on the deck. We were treated to an amazing sunset as we sipped some Anselmo Viognier and Majorette and enjoyed our starters, which were the Caprese and Caesar Salad. Both were amazing and I would have to rate the... read more

went there for a birthday celebration. It has opened under new ownership. We had high hopes. It took over half an hour to receive our appetizer. Then only one of the orders was ready. The salad came much later with really bad bread. How can you screw up bread? They did. Dinner came 2 hours into all this. My halibut... More

The experience for dinner was wonderful. The chef knows preparation and presentation. The wait staff are not as experienced or refined, keep your expectations moderate for table service. Explore the vineyard if possible and stay for the night even for additional enjoyment of this treasure. Watch it in the coming years as it will be improving I feel.

This was a great find, set in beautiful grounds with the option of eating inside or outside. The menu and food were excellent, the staff were friendly and helpful and the wine produced on site. The prices too, were good.

I had lunch there with a group of friends. Wait staff treated us very nicely, very professional. I had chosen the panini melted cheese sandwich with tomato bisque. The presentation alone was so beautiful to look at. Great taste and very good portion. The other ladies in our group seem to enjoy their meals as well. Everyone seemed to be... More

An amazing experience in fine dining ambiance, superb service, and out of this world entrees. We were seated in the library in a beautiful semi-private setting. The service was on target, seeminly there at the right time but not hovering. The Brisket and the chicken marsala were our menu choices and they did not disappoint, in fact, some of the... More

We had the most amazing brunch at Anselmo's. Fabulous food and amazing atmosphere! A much needed touch of class in the Redding area. I noticed a few complaints regarding the dress code which we didn't mind, it's a breath of fresh air to sit down at a restaurant that has some standards. We will definitely be back as longs as... I grew up in Redding (go Hornets!) a long time ago and my wife and I am currently living in Silicon Valley (Santa Clara). We wine and have wine tasted in Napa, Sonoma, Paso Robles, Livermore, Santa Cruz, ... We love dark, full bodied reds, but we are not wine experts. I was very sceptical about a winery near Redding... sunday afternoon brunch. I saw this site and was second guessing myself for trying anmselmo vineyards but I was pleasantly surprised and quite relieved by our meal, the service, and the ambiance. But happy to say it was really a good experience and we will definitely be back!! Food and service was top notch, and the grounds were beautiful also!... More

My wife and I were going to our grandsons graduation from the Shasta Fire Academy. We wanted to have a great lunch before the ceremony. We stopped at the Anselmo Vineyards winery. The waitress was very polite and her service was acceptable. When we asked her to recommend a good wine paring to go with a dinner that we would... More
