We had a wonderful afternoon meal here in early May. We were seated in a very nice part of the restaurant, with a pleasant view. Chris, our server, was exceptionally helpful, unusually well versed in food and wine, and genuinely interested in helping the four of us make a delightful memory. Three of us ordered the steak sandwiches. I ordered... More

This place is simply amazing. The drive out to it is beautiful. On the road leading up to the restaurant/vineyard I have twice seen a bobcat. Cattle lazing about. The grounds are stunning, not overdone, but not disappointing. The restaurant serves wonderful food, the wines are exceptional and the wait staff is professional and attentive but not intrusive. The owners... More

Okay, so we spent a beautiful day in the nearby town of Manton surveying the local wineries. On our way out of the Manton valley we stopped by Anselmo looking to sample their wines. What we first discovered was a confusing setup with questions of where to park and which building we could do our wine tasting. After assuming the... More

Triple A's to Anselmo Vineyards Restaurant. He has the total package. Beautiful setting, food, service and of course the wine. Chef John came to our table to tell us about the specials of the evening, which 3 out of our 4 ordered. Chef John also came back two more times to check in with us. We each chose to take... More

When my husband and I celebrate, we definitely travel here. As regulars for all occasions, we are always excited with the fare at Anselmo Vineyards, Valentines being no exception. Our Food was absolutely fabulous. The day could have not been more perfect for a drive and a dining experience like this. Thank you Chef John for the delightful strawberries. He... More

Service and food range from very poor to quite good. The brunch seems to be their strong suit. It's worth the atmosphere to go and hang out, sipping wine on the patio or when they have live music.

Our party of 7 had advanced reservations for one o'clock on Wednesday. Our lunch took three and a half hours. We joked among ourselves that the kitchen staff must have taken a lunch break. We had to re-remind the waiter for many things. The mediocre cheese platter came with grocery store boxed TownHouse crackers. The Merlot was good. The BLT and... More

Well worth the drive. With home grown beef and wine, how can you go wrong? I had the burger for lunch and it was the perfect combination without putting any of the garnish on it. My lunch date had the spinach salad and was very pleased. Since we had a recommendation to try the carrot cake, we ordered it togo... More

I just have to say, having gone to multiple fine dining restaurants both international and locally, Anselmo Vineyards was a complete experience. Our waiter Chris started the whole experience and made our entire night wonderful. Very helpful and attentive to both me and my boyfriends' needs, Chris helped us choose the best items on the menu and also paired our... More
