The worst food and worst service ever. So disappointed we even bothered. Sadly it was our first dinner stop on our vacation too. Our food was ready ar the window and none of the employees bothered to tell us as we were sitting on tables around the corner. The inside seating was closed due to staffing issues. The food was... We stopped here on a last minute decision to get some quick food for an afternoon kayak trip on the lake. Figured 2 sandwiches would be cheap, fast, and good tasting. They were none of those. Three strikes. The prices are high. Food took about 25-30 minutes. The pastrami sandwich was truly the worst I've had anywhere. Extremely greasy and... More

What's really worth going here for is the soft serve ice cream. It is great. The day we went for lunch I was disappointed. When the food came out, it was only barely warm. The fries were okay but the sandwiches (I had a crispy chicken sandwich) did not taste fresh, but processed. As if they'd been frozen and reheated.... More

We went here twice in our two day trip - both times we ordered and picked up our food we were treated very disrespectfully and rude . The food is great and nothing beats it but the services kills it !

We like this place and are regulars. Hamburgers are big and have lots of fixings. Shakes and fries or great. You can dine outside under the trees and watch the cars travel by on the main highway. When it is cooler, we dine inside, which is very small. This is one of the few places in our area to get... More

I take my wife and kids to this restaurant almost every time we go to Shaver Lake. The food and the service is excellent! The name of the business is hungry hut, and just like the name the place is small. Its a hole in the wall and that means there is no restroom there is only 2 tables inside.... More

The service was fair and the waitress was friendly but the food was just ok and a little pricey. I ordered the patty melt and instead of fried onions I received raw onions on the side. We ordered water but never received it. We overheard another customer say that they did not serve water because of the drought. Another negative... More

This place is always crowded at lunch time! Mostly tourists, not locals. The food was pretty good. We had the French dip and the chicken wrap. Both were very good, especially compared to greasy hamburgers everywhere else. You can order at the window outside and eat on the patio, but we also found they have a very small inside dining... The famous chunky bread was already bagged and ready to go. Walked in and grabbed two bags and walked over to the register and paid and walked out. Simple and easy to get your supply of Chunky bread. It was breakfast for two mornings in a row. The children were happy.
