We went here twice in our two day trip - both times we ordered and picked up our food we were treated very disrespectfully and rude . The food is great and nothing beats it but the services kills it !

We like this place and are regulars. Hamburgers are big and have lots of fixings. Shakes and fries or great. You can dine outside under the trees and watch the cars travel by on the main highway. When it is cooler, we dine inside, which is very small. This is one of the few places in our area to get... More

I take my wife and kids to this restaurant almost every time we go to Shaver Lake. The food and the service is excellent! The name of the business is hungry hut, and just like the name the place is small. Its a hole in the wall and that means there is no restroom there is only 2 tables inside.... More

The service was fair and the waitress was friendly but the food was just ok and a little pricey. I ordered the patty melt and instead of fried onions I received raw onions on the side. We ordered water but never received it. We overheard another customer say that they did not serve water because of the drought. Another negative... More

This place is always crowded at lunch time! Mostly tourists, not locals. The food was pretty good. We had the French dip and the chicken wrap. Both were very good, especially compared to greasy hamburgers everywhere else. You can order at the window outside and eat on the patio, but we also found they have a very small inside dining... The famous chunky bread was already bagged and ready to go. Walked in and grabbed two bags and walked over to the register and paid and walked out. Simple and easy to get your supply of Chunky bread. It was breakfast for two mornings in a row. The children were happy.

PLEASE READ ALL THE PREVIOUS REVIEWS. People aren't making any of this up, I promise. We ordered 3 hamburgers, 1 chicken salad sandwich, 2 chicken strip orders, 4 french fry orders, and 2 seasoned fry orders, AND ONE ICED TEA. spent $74; way over-priced. My son asked for his iced tea and the girl told her she couldn't give it... More

This is my first and only restaurant review because our experience was so upsetting and shocking! We arrived on a Sunday afternoon to find an empty parking lot (should have been a red flag). We were towing a small trailer (about 4 feet by 4 feet) and my husband was contemplating the best way to park. Before we had a... More
