Sadly, this place is not as good as it used to be. We made reservations and were seated promptly. After sitting for over 10 minutes without being acknowledged, my husband went to see if we were going to have service. The manager took our drink...orders, and my strawberry lemonade was very bland. We finally got to put our order in. We only received half a loaf of the sour dough bread. We don't get to eat her often as we do not live in this state.More

We arrived ahead of our reservation time and were seated immediately. Our server was a friendly young man who quickly showed up at our table and took our order. Drinks, salad and amazing hot bread and butter arrived right away. My husband enjoyed the shrimp...cocktail. Our steaks and sides were cooked perfectly. And the chocolate chip cookie sundae was off the hook good. We left full and happy. A great meal and excellent service.More

I ordered the steak and dungeness crab for $32.99. The 8 oz steak seemed much larger and the crab was so nice. In SoCal we always get skinny awful snow crab legs in combo platters, but the dungeness was delicious. A huge shareable salad was...brought to the table with fresh sourdough bread that was also top notch. I had a great Pina Colada...always makes me happy to find a restaurant with a blender, not just beer and wine. The staff was super attentive asking to refill drinks and ask if we needed anything. I made our reservation 3 hours ahead on their website and we were seated immediately upon arrival. My partner had the steak special, which came with a pot of spicy beans, which he really enjoyed. It was just too much food. No room for dessert.More

Reservation at 8.30 for 12 because they would not allow earlier for our group size: Arrived at 8:15 and checked in. We finally got seated at 9:10. The only good thing I can say about the evening is that we were greeted nicely and provided...water in a timely manner. Our orders were taken. At 9:55 we had no bread, no salad, and no appetizers. When we did get our onion straws, they were cold. Its after 10 now and we still don't have our wings, Our meals start coming, well done steak was the rarest steak at the table. All the steaks were lukewarm at best.... So what? Its sitting in the kitchen getting cold? Still no wings. Still no fresh onion straws. No beans, oh wait, they brought out one small bowl of cold beans for 12 adults to share. This is the second time in less than a month that we had very similar experience at this restaurant. In fairness the servers on both occasions were working real hard but they had no support. There were several other employees doing other things like bussing tables, etc. When clearly someone should have been helping to support the servers. Once could be an employee problem, but twice reflects a poorly managed restaurant. Even after talking to manager about how horrible the service was, nothing was done to help serve our table. I've eaten here many years ago and several other Cattleman restaurants in California. Every other experience was AWESOME! This the first review I've ever written because I've never experienced anything this bad in my 59 years.More

We have visited other Cattlemn's locations, and have been wanting to try this location for a couple of year now. We made reservations and went on a Wednesday at around 5:30, it was already getting crowded at that time, but we were seated in less...then five minutes. By 6:00 it was pretty full, and people were waiting a bit to be seated, they have a large parking lot, so plenty of parking for this location. We order the Brussels Sprouts appetizer, along with the 10 oz Filet Mignon, with baked potato, the Lamb Chops with baked potato, Bloody Mary drink and Ice tea. The Bloody Mary was spicy as requested, but didn't taste like it had much alcohol, also we were a bit disappointed with the Brussel Sprouts, as they also didn't taste as good as we have had at other places. However both the Filet Mignon and Lam chops were cooked to perfection, and both were extremely delicious , along with the stuff baked potato's, the meals also come with all you can eat salad, which was very good as well, although hard to mess up salad, but it was fresh and came with a number of vegetables added, and then they also brought beans to share as well, which were also pretty good. For dessert we shared a Cowboy Cookie, which was a Chocolate Chip Pan Cookie with Two Scoops of Ice Cream, that was fresh and hot, and also very good. Over all rate this location a 4 of 5 stars, and that was based on the weak Bloody Mary, and unimpressive Brussel Sprouts, minus those two items, everything else was top notch, they wait staff was also very good and keep with the table to ensure our drinks were kept full, and we were happy. We would / will go back here again, to try some of the other items on the menu.More

We order to go on Valentine’s Day. The New York’s were not labeled. No sour cream and chives no extra ranch. Had to go to the store to buy sour cream by the storm we sat to eat it was cold. The shrimp had the...skin on it still. It was the worst dinner we have ever had and they only gave a vip for half of what we spent. We will never go back their. Also the pick up time was 45 min. Later than was told. They refund what they feel you deserve. I remember years ago this happened and they gave us a vip card to take care of all three dinners and deserts. So management has also gone down hill.More

It was Monday evening my husband went up to the bar with one of the former employees on his day off. Mr. Joe as I was told was a kitchen manager presented himself rudely to my husband and ask him multiple times “what did he...want” after holding a minimum conversation with one of the servers. Presumptly assumed because he was buying the gentleman and a former employee a drink. He was rude to my husband, my husband felt disrespected and to top it off harassed. Mr. Joe seemed as he was breathing over the gentleman’s shoulder and ours because we were friendly with him. I’m not sure if Joe is a kitchen manager but he was pretty intimidating to my husband and employees. I heard a couple employees mention he was intimidating to them as well. I don’t feel comfortable going back as we did feel some type away about him starting us down. My husband has worked in the customer service industry some time and it’s not appropriate. Food was good. Service was good. Drive is we’re excellent.More

Waited 55 minutes for the steak to come out at room temperature..sent it back to warm up..slightly warmer after it returned in less than 5 minutes..sent it back again...came back with steam coming off steak...but they sucked out all the favor? Microwave? They remade the steak; came out raw, ordered medium...sent it back again with the manager bringing it this time waiting to see if it was okay...it was...they comp the meal..two hours later on completed my meal. So I will return since they comp the meal..never in my whole life experience anything close to this experience...I'am retirement age and eat out all the time.More

30 min wait ended up being an hour. When the food finally arrived after asking about it twice, only one of us was served. 15 min later the other plate arrived. Not sure how a medium well steak is red and cold in the center....No apologies, no anything from the waiter. So unprofessional we won’t be backMore

This joint is consistent, predictable and enjoyable. The chefs know when to pull a piece of meat off the fire, how to mash potatoes and how to crisp a salad. The decidedly conventional wine list covers the bases. No one will call the place exotic...but it answers the mail. Local and drive-though crowd: cowboys, truck drivers, farmers, highwaymen, etc. You get the picture.More

We stopped here on a family road trip. This place was exactly what we needed for a good steak and family dinner. Nice atmosphere. Great staff and the food was very good! Would recommend. They had a daily special that was a T-bone the day...we were there, but they were already sold out. :-( But what we all had was delicious!!More

Our gorup of 11 received 8 pieces of bread, and only two small salads. We had to ask for everything, like butter, sour cream and chives. The meals were ok but expensive. But the filet was tough as a shoe!!! Better to go elsewhere. We...are locals and it is a shame that we cannot go to a local steak place!!More

We celebrated our 37th year Anniversary there on August 6th and had the best meal. My husband loves the steak and I usually have as my #1 pick the 6 ounce Filet but this day I opted for the BBQ Ribs. Believe me when I...say they are the best Ribs. I love their BBQ sauce and the baked potatoes and salad are so yummy. Thanks Cattleman's for a wonderful meal again!!More
