Excellent Choice For Vegetarian and Non-Vegetarians

I am hampered quite often with dining out with vegetarians. I want my fellow eaters to have more than one choice. The East West Cafe is so incredibly varied in choices for everyone's eating habits that it has become one of my favorite restaurants. The staff echos my cheerfulness- they are... read more

Many different options, always good food. I love their soups on a cold day and their wraps on a hot day.

I had the organic macro plate, with tofu and an assortment of delicacies like mushrooms and hummus. A close second was the falafel plate. Yummy. The menu is divided into categories, like green, land, sea, etc. They had a very wide selection of choices. It would be possible to eat here every day and not repeat yourself for a long... More

Good place for breakfast and lunch. Interesting dishes and also standard favorites on menu. I had the Eggs Benedict and they were delivered hot and tasty.

East-West Cafe has proved itself over the years to have consistently satisfying food with some unusual selections too. The quality of the food is always fine, and the restaurant itself is simple, but inviting. However, no matter what else is being served, I almost always order the pancakes which are unique.

The menu says, "Chicken Shish Kebab -- A Must." No, its not. First, its not a must and shouldn't even be a maybe. The chicken consists of flavorless meat that is overcooked and covered with a baked on coating of spices that don't adequately compensate for the tasteless chicken inside. The reaction of the waitress was, "I'll tell the cook,"... More

My husband and I had lunch here on Tuesday. He had a salad which was ok. I had an eggplant sandwich which consisted of overcooked, slimy eggplant and avocado that had been put in the sandwich and then grilled so that the avocado was cooked and terrible. There did not seem to be any seasoning on the eggplant. If you... More

East West always seems to be a safe bet for any appetite and palette. Lots of veggie choices. This restaurant is smaller and seems to have a less complete menu the one in Santa Rosa, but I'd go back. Good turkey burger!

We made our first visit yesterday and were delighted with the experience. We tried both the specials, two juices and a dessert. Not cheap at $50 for two, but very high quality lunch. The Alaskan Cod sandwich was perfectly cooked and the cod soft and delicate. Side salad was big and tasty. Salmon-shrimp skewer was also perfectly cooked and flavored.... More

When in downtown Sebastopol, try East West Bakery Cafe for good, healthy food in a relaxed setting. Their pancakes (served all day) are unique and especially good.
