We are a husband & wife chef team so we have 2 kinds of food: rustic Northern Italian (meaning we make all our own salami, pasta, gelato) and playful Americana (meaning we take American classics and update them with a twist). we grow up to 30% of our own produce and have our own chickens for the eggs for our pasta. otherwise, we support local, sustainable and diverse agriculture and economy in our purchasing choices. We make our own bacon and salami from heritage pork that is antibiotic and hormone free and free range. You can order our bacon from our website www.zazurestaurant.com. Come stroll through our chef's garden! We have PIZZA & PINOT nights Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays. For breakfast or lunch any day, try our sister restaurant, BOVOLO, up in Healdsburg, on the square inside Copperfield's books.

We love brunch at Zazu. They have a bacon waffle that is one of the best waffles on the planet. It has bacon in the batter, and is served with candied bacon and espresso gelato, and is so self-indulgent, you'll think about rehab afterward. For the non-pork eater, I had the special panzanella salad with a poached egg on top.... More

We found ZaZu by accident and were extremely pleased with the lunch selections that included a wide and tasty variety of soups, sandwiches, pastas, salads and cooked main courses. We also had an antipasti dish that was amongst the best we ever tasted. You need to experience ZaZu to get the full flavor of the Sonoma wine country.....and an extensive... More

We had a 5+ group including two young boys and they took great care of us. Fabulous brunch cocktails and eats on the outdoor patio surrounded by fresh blooming flowers. We're eaten here for dinner as well and had a great experience.

Just went to Zazu for dinner and will not be going back. I ordered the BLT salad and was not impressed. Two small wedges of lettuce, one small tomato quartered, four dice-size pieces of avocado and about 1/2 strip of bacon cut into bits... for $14.50? No bread for the table ( my daughter said that was extra), no croutons... More

The combination of good service, great food, and tasty beer make for a nice experience. Their chicken sandwich was excellent, but after having a bite of my sons beef cheek pastrami, I wanted a redo. Their macaroni and cheese is also outstanding.

Went for my birthday lunch, not sure I enjoyed it as much as I wanted to. Nothing bad, service was good, food was beautifully presented and well prepared - just missed the mark somehow. Definitely miss the warmth of the old location.

The Fourth of July weekend dinner was excellent. The outdoor location had umbrellas to shield the sun rays and heaters to neutralize the wind and cold. The table next to the side walk was a perfect location to watch passer byers. Our bichon-poodle was comfortable under the table. Zazu is dog friendly. The staff is friendly and professional. They are... More

MEH! It was dissappointing after viewing programs on Food Network. Thought we were going to a super restaurant. We had to go twice because the houses were diverse. We didn't get to try bacon cupcakes because they only make those certain days. BLT was good, As good as anywhere else. We had carmel bacon popcorn and a burger. But I... More

I went to the Zazu's in San Francisco and totally loved it. I've been there several times. My young adult daughter lived in SF and Zazu's was her favorite! The breakfast, particularly the waffles and berries, are spectacular. It is a busy restaurant with very friendly servers. I think it is owned by a young woman who started it on... More
