The bakery is unmatched anywhere in the area and therefore attracts huge crowds of waiting customers. A friend recently had her wallet stolen by a skilled pair of pickpockets lurking in the crowd.

We stopped here while staying in Sebastopol to pick up some baked goodies for breakfast. It is a beautiful drive and a fun place to stop. Highly recommend the scones, but the sticky rolls were not quite to our liking (we're used to sticky buns from Amish country in Pennsylvania and prefer those).

We frequent this place when we bike through the area. Excellent scones and bread. You will not be disappointed.

These two loaves of bread were terrific. We also enjoyed their free garden just outside. If you are coming west on Bodega Highway out of Sebastopol, turn right at the Bohemian Highway just before you reach the Joseph Phelps Vineyard, then the bakery is very quick on your left side.

I know we have to write 100 characters to submit a review. So how many times should I repeat "Go! It is amazing!" We should have guessed when we the line out of the door. The first thing we say was a sticky bun the size of a small pie. More than a meal for two, unless you want a... More

After a couple of trips back, due to friends that loved the place and wanted to convince me of it's wondermous, I have to add a new review.. The savory breads are AMAZING, the biscotti absolutely fantastic. What got me before was the (still this way) undercooked, odd mixed scones and sweet bread they offer. I just don't enjoy biting... Just go! Friendly people, delicious artisan bread, cinnamon rolls, and scones, beautiful organic garden outside in an exquisite pastoral environment. One of my favorite places ever - Get the Fougasse, load up on treats to take home, enjoy the scenery, and then head to the beach! Perfect day!

This place has THE BEST breads -- always unusual, quirky combinations, and never a disappointment. Try all the samples before you decide. They keep strange hours, so whenever I find it open I buy several loves of their amazing breads and freeze them.
