Don't even waste time reading. Just go get a scone already! CHUNKS of meyer lemon, chocolate, whatever the day's flavor, jammed up in a massive melt in your mouth scone. And I hate scones! They even have the impossible-to-find spelt loaves! Rustic, just like amazing bread HAS TO BE!

Wildflour has not only the best bread within a 50 mile radius but the most friendly staff. It is a "must do" for any out of town guests visiting to show them the spirit of Sonoma County. One warning: the rye bread is especially addicting if you are a fan of old world style rye.

this place is a must see when in Sonoma County.Anytime we have out of area guests, this is one of the first places we go to, their bread, scones and other baked goods are to die for. They have some very unusual combinations of breads.their mochas are great too

This bakery seriously has discovered the addictive flavor ingredient. I don't know what it is (love, hard work, MSG) but all of their breads are delicious! Their sticky bun is the closest thing to heaven and their staff and service is second to none. Outstanding hole in the wall you could pass on the way to Bodega if you blink... More

Have not been in 10 years but thrilled to be back at the Freestone Bakery. It's not a secret any longer either. Breads and pastries incredible. Staff extremely nice and helpful too. We'll be back tomorrow before we leave for Nappa

This bakery is delicious, amazing and in the middle of nowhere! Everything is good and make sure to tour their garden. Stop there on the way to Bodega Bay from Occidental.

A must stop in the Freestone area: delicious bread and scones. They also have a large, lovely garden immediately adjacent to the bakery where they grow many of their ingredients. Bonus is that there is an interesting antique store right next door.

I love going here, it is pretty and smells good, fresh bread baking! I love to choose a scone, they bake so many different kinds, this time I had pear, cardamon and hazelnuts. Yum. I always meet friendly people with whom to chat while I enjoy my coffee and bread. We're lucky it's here and apparently all the visitors to... More
