The food was spicy and tasty. The shrimp dish I ordered was very good. Reasonably priced, too. I didn't like how sticky the table covering felt.

Really great food and excellent service. Really reasonable prices too. The decor is a little shabby but the atmosphere was homey and inviting.

Never had the pleasure before to eat so delicious authentic Mexican food. We came twice and definitely recommend this place!

This was excellent Mexican food and my wife and I are junkies when it comes to food south of the border. The chili rellenos and enchiladas were nearly perfect, with the right amount of spiciness. My wife had the carne asada burrito, which was filling and a great value. The chips and salsa were tasty and the beers, chelada style... More

Found this place off of Trip Advisor. Small, local hole in the wall type of place with plastic table cloth covers as well. The waitress recommended the chile rellenos and she was right on. Great dinner - very quick (although I read another review that said they could be slow) and half the price we had paid for food over... More

Talk about a hole in the wall place,it was night time and we past this place twice, the next time we pull over and decided to walk and find it,glad we... More

When you sit down they bring you great guacamole along with salsa and chips. All the food is fresh, well-prepared, and excellent representations of the traditional fare. (Red) cheese enchiladas are my benchmark dish and these have plenty of cheese and flavor without making you feel you've eaten a ton of oil. I would rate them slightly higher than Michael's... More

I think the best Mexican food in the Monterey area. Always good. Service can be a little slow at times. Funky decor has recently been improved and more seating added. But the real reason to go is the food. Prices are reasonable, but not cheap.

Visited Rosa's La Villa for dinner because we love authentic Mexican food, it had good TripAdvisor ratings, and was close to our motel. Very easy to find, not hidden as we thought after reading other reviews. Good value, very clean, friendly & efficient service. Atmosphere is casual and colorful. A bit too spicy for me but was still yummy. If... More
