What a treat this place was. Dropped in for dinner on a whim. Very cute décor, attentive service and very good food. We both had fajitas(one chicken, one steak) and both thought they were delicious. They even served our Pacifico in chilled glasses. Our server was excellent; polite, gracious and prompt. I found the prices to be very reasonable. This... More

A very extensive menu with many selections, good prices and responsive service resulted in a pleasant and tasty dinner for our family group. The restaurant was crowded, and we were not surprised once we started our meal. It would be an easy place to go back to for anyone appreciating good Mexican food.

The food was fantastic and very authentic. I suggest trying the guacamole. It's fresh and delicious!

Everything we had at Jose's was delicious. The fajitas were very flavorful, the chips fresh and crisp, the nachos piled high with fresh toppings, and the fried ice cream was the perfect way to end to our meal.

This was close to our hotel so we tried it. They had the really good shrimp cocktails. The food was good and actually inexpensive. Somewhat limited seating on the inside.

Taken here by relatives. Service reasonably fast and very friendly. Menu varied enough. Plenty of baked chips and good salsa. Everyone got huge portions including my carne asada. Margaritas were a bit weak says my wife. I thought $5.50 was steep for a Negra Modelo. I can get a whole six pack at home in New England for $9. All... More

The food is just average....nothing very special. There is no spice to the food and that is to bad as Mexican food should have a little spice to it. The guacamole was extremely disappointing and the service was slow. Seemed that the wait staff was more interested in eating their own dinner than serving it to the guests.

We recently had a "throwdown" in the office and brought in chips and salsa from various Mexican restaurants in the area. Our office voted Jose's as having the best chips & salsa! Their enchiladas, tostadas and tacos are delicious, fresh, and very reasonably priced. The service is friendly and efficient. It's not fancy- but the food is yummy!

I have always loved Jose's food, even when it was in Monterey. Went there on a Sunday with a friend and wanted to use my Restaurant.com certificate. They argued with me over it and said they no longer were established with Restaurant.com. Those certificates are not suppose to expire and the restaurants are told this when they sign the contract.... More
