We had pho here and overall, it was okay. A bit too much star anise flavor in the standard rice noodle pho and the meatballs were rubbery and overcooked. The egg noodle seafood soup had about 1/2 cup of crispy fried onions on top - way too much. Plus the shrimp was suspiciously off color so I didn't eat it.... More

The service was real slow, but the foods were real good. The spring rolls were delish. The large combination pho I had for dinner hit the spot. It's a pricey sit-down restaurant though.

My husband and I have been fans of another Vietnamese restaurant Pho King, in Seaside, but it closed recently. Hunting for a replacement, we tried Taste of Vietnam and have been back many times. First of all do not be put off by the location. Next to the now closed Salvation Army, the parking lot is pretty rough looking and... More

Admittedly I haven't been to every Vietnamese restaurant in Monterey, but this one certainly fills the bill for Vietnamese cuisine. Unpretentious but good service and terrific food. Reasonably priced. Recommended.

I love Vietnamese food and found this restaurant thoroughly mediocre. It is a sports bar in addition. I have eaten at other Vietnamese restaurants in Seaside and found them to be much more interesting.

Looked very unassuming and I was certainly not sure- before I got inside that is. We went here because of reviews on Tripadvisor and this is proof why Tripadvisor is amazing! Would never have gone if I had not seen reviews, am very glad I did. Food was great and enjoying a few drinks watching sports before hand fit the... More

Lots of good Pho choices, ok service, excellent fresh ingrediants, not much on atmosphere but we don't expect any in a Vietnamese restaurant. Sort of an odd entry area, but just go farther in and they will get you seated. The Vietnamese iced coffee is the real thing, just like you get in Ho Chi Minh City!

We arrived at this large family restaurant 30 minutes before closing and it was understandably empty. Service was slow but they were getting ready for the next day. We ordered fried egg rolls (skip those if you go), spring rolls (so-so), vermicelli with shrimp and BBQ pork (so-so), and we tried to order pho but they were out of beef... More

We had some of the best Thai food around. It was very tasty and filling. The price is excellent and very cheap. If we lived here it would be our weekly haunt! The staff were good and helpful
