Lots of vegetarian options. Creative sushi. Also some udon and rice bowl options. A nice sake list. Reasonable prices.

Good solid Japanese food. Great sushi! Love the salmon teriyaki! Some many great dishes! Prices reasonable and friendly helpful staff! Easy place to go if you have children too!

I am a sushi snob. Harumi is worth the extra drive for the fresh fish, the inventive dinners and a quick sushi/wasabi fix.

After checking reviews both here and on Yelp, we decided to give Harumi a go. We love sushi, so trying a new sushi place while on vacation is always fun. The sushi chefs behind the bar were very friendly and offered a warm welcome. We were seated quickly, and the menu looked quite tasty. We ordered 5 rolls, and then... More

We didn't realize when we got there that we entered prior to closing but they were very nice explaining it and still allowed us to order and stated we could stay as long as we wanted and just the sushi bar was closing. We appreciated this as we were running late and hadn't eaten dinner. The sushi is very largely... More

We sat at the sushi bar and the man next to us coughed every five seconds. We complained and we're treated as the bad guys. Food is okay, service is bad. We left without finishing our meal--grossed out.

We eat ALOT of sushi - but wow, this is some of the very best! We stumbled on this restaurant after visiting laguna seca and were so impressed! Great value, busy(always a good sign at a restaurant) and SO fresh! A definite recommend!

I have Troy always make my favorite roll. It's a special roll and not on the menu. All fish and incredible. I love these guys because they have great fish and love their job. I take my friends and family all the time. I have not had a complaint yet.

Fun group of guys making sushi starts off a good meal. Listening to music that sounds more like the Caribbean! We tried 5 or 6 rolls and they were all excellent. He realized I like hot so he made up a special condiment of garlic and Serrano peppers! Excellent! Enjoyed.

We searched the Internet for a Japanese restaurant in pacific grove. We drove to three. One was more horrifying then the other small dirty dark we finally asked a Japanese local who directed us to drive 2.5 miles. We were glad we did. Harumi was incredible. Friendly huge menu lovely crowd. Great wait staff. Clean and authentic.
