We'll be back. We had the field greens salad--hold off a bit on the vinaigrette guys. And a pulled pork sandwich on a pretzel bun that was to die for. Only had one of the sides--hope to try another the next time, except the green bean ragout was so good. My wife and I split the meal, yet were stuffed.... More

The menu is a bit different, different kinds of appetizers also. Lots of different kinds of beers, try a sample before ordering we didn't and spent money on beers we didn't like. Best table is in the window, long bar, dining room a bit crowded.

Be prepared for some great eats and wholly delicious craft beers. The bartender absolutely knows his offerings and suggests perfect matchings. Try the Albacore or Brisket burger...you won't be disappointed...oh yeah...add sweet potato fries and fuggetaboutit.

Beachwood BBQ is my favorite place to eat in Seal Beach. The Brisket and Sweet potatoe fries are heavenly. The have a very unique menu, a wall of many tapped micro beers to choose from (even samples if you ask) and the atmosphere is simple but welcoming. Don't forget to try the different flavors of sauces - for complete satisfaction.... More

VERY good BBQ place but it's packed after 6, so get there early and enjoy the Happy Hour too. Fried pickles, duck tater tots with truffle oil and the nachos are our favs.

Great little place in Seal Beach. Best BBQ I had ever had and I am from Kentucky! The cornbread is sooo good and the coleslaw was tasty as well. My fiance got one of the coffee flavored beers and we both agreed that it was the best beer we had ever tasted!

With a BBQ resume that includes living/visiting Texas, N Carolina, Kansas City, Upstate NY, Florida, and others, I was a bit leery of Southern California as a source for outstanding BBQ. I ended up impressed, full, amazed, and very satisfied. We arrived at the small storefront restaurant to a small wait (25 min estimate) which was accurate. Up front, notice... More

I had the BBQ Beef spare rib and it was really overcooked and dry. I also tried my wife's smoked ham and neither of us really liked it much - it as also dry and overcooked. The sauces were really good and so were all of the sides we ordered: Baked Beans, Yams, creamed spinach and Cornbread.

We were at Seal Beach and expected great craft beers, but fabulous BBQ and the best grits I ever had in Southern California? ??? Yes, it is true! The shrimp and grits are creamy and tasty but the blue cheese grits were fabulous!! They were sides, but I could have consumed two of them. I is true that the surprisingly... More
