You can not beat the location and Dog Friendly too

This casual place is right on the sand at the end of 1st street, it has a nice parking lot where you pay $3.00 for two hours. It is next to where the river meets the sea and you can watch the surfers there. Service was prompt, food is decent and the dog biscuits when we were seated was a... read more

If you want a "Secret" Beach Restaurant, Seal Beaches "River End Café" is it! Located in the beach parking lot at Ray Bay, San Gabriel Rivermouth, Seal Beach, off 1st Street & Ocean. Inside and outside (dogs OK outside) high quality food at reasonable prices. Try the Aloha Special (Spam, Eggs and Rice) The Omelets are unreal and the Fish... More

Located at the end of the San Gabriel River Bike Trail this is a natural stopping point for cyclists. It is the only restaurant within a step or two of the sand for miles around. Automobile access is via the Seal Beach parking lot at the end of First Street (expect to pay $2 at the machine (at least two... More

Great place with fantastic view of sunset on the water. The food is good and servers were attentive. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because they won't let you order a la carte on the Dungeness crabs special menu. For that menu, it requires both people in the party to order and menu is set.

I happened onto this out of the way café some time ago; it is steps away from the ocean, away from the city, but a minute drive from it; they serve breakfast and lunch, fish tacos, pasta, a good variety of wines and beers, local and imported. The wait is a bit long 20-30 minutes, but there is so much... More

This little hidden gem is not for the stuffy, I don't like sand near my food types. It's literally on the sand at the jetty in Seal Beach. The food is good, there is wine & beer. It's a great place to ease a hangover, have lunch with the family or a super casual romantic little dinner. You can't beat... More

We have been going there for years. Food is always good and a fair price. Service is sometimes slow, need more staff. I we are not in a rush when we go there, we just enjoy.

We have been going here for a while and it is the only restaurant on the beach where you can bring your dogs. Big plus. The food is consistent. It is hit or miss with the service. The staff seems to like to hang out inside and it takes too long to get your beverages and when you finally can... More

Nice out door seating on the sand in Seal Beach. It's next to the river across from Long Beach Harbor. Good food, good prices & good service-

Get away from the tourists and the crowds, go where the locals go. Great food casual atmosphere, excellent service. Take your time because you wont wont to leave. I recommend you go on a warm sunny day, when its not too windy, sit outside.
