The Cafe is not easy to find but worth the search. It is on the beach with shade from overhangs and umbrella tables. It is handicap accessable. There are many locals and bicyclists frequenting this location. Make sure you have sunglasses, sunscreen and a jacket if you are going to linger over the relaxing feel to this restaurant. They will... More

Sitting almost on the sand, enjoying the view of the ocean, riverbed and all the people coming and going from the beach, you can't beat it. The food is fantastic and the staff very friendly. A bit of a wait if you don't get there early and sometimes I have trouble getting refills on my coffee, but that's the worst... More

Let's start off by stating this is not a great restaurant. However, it is good and it is consistent. But more importantly, it is on the beach, next to the river, with the surf in view. They do a nice job on breakfast and lunch (never had dinner there). The Mexican themed dishes have never disappointed, and the salads are... More

Took my husband here for his birthday. It's right on the sand and just feet from the the water. The menu is very tasted and reasonably priced. There's patio seating as well as indoors. It's not fancy, very beachy and sometimes crowded. The only downside is the bathrooms are public. The restaurant doesn't have its own. Not too bad, but... More

We didn't expect much when we saw the café. It looked just like a chack but boy was that a great place. Right on the beach with wonderful views of the river and ocean as well as a lot of sand. I had fish and chips and the fish was my absolute favorite, halibut. Everything was so good. Sitting in... More

The atmosphere is all beach. The food is good and it is the only place with quick access and plenty of parking that allows you to enjoy your food and beer on the sand. Definitely worth a visit on a sunny day or a break on your bike ride.

And by on the beach, I mean sand between your toes, or at least right under the flooring. Food is good, service is friendly, and it is one of the few places around where you can dine with your dog. During the winter months there is no dinner service,(it gets chilly when the sun goes down) so check first. Small... More

River's End is a great location for a quiet breakfast or lunch. Away from traffic and noise, fresh sea air, view is good for a sandy beach with a pier and offshore rigs. Menu is quite complete, quality of food is OK, service is always superb. Need to update or replace some of the outside dinning tables/chairs. All the other... More

Nice little beachside cafe that allows dogs in the outside area. Waitstaff was quick with drinks (and coffee refills) but the food took a good 20 minutes to arrive, and it wasn't particularly busy. We were happy it was so good we forgot how long it took to get to us. Although not specifically gluten-free, the menu adapted well to... More

Great for casual breakfast/lunch. Just go for a kick-back time and relax. On the Beach! Open in winter and cool weather only until 2:45 pm but they will have dinner when it gets warm. There is a small indoor area in case it gets too cool for you. Dogs are allowed which is truly rare. I almost hate to give... More
