Seal Beach's intimate 320 Main long ago set the benchmark in Orange County for cutting edge, creative craft cocktails. Owners Jason & Rebecca Schiffer have all but perfected the art of re-imagining popular cocktail recipes, utilizing the latest techniques and ingredients, all the while refining their standard cocktail repertoire that pays homage to America's greatest gift to the culinary world.

In a recent effort to re-imagine the food offerings of the dining room menu to the level of the drinks menu, 320 Main recently appointed Chef Jaime Carrano, who now brings a similar ethos to the kitchens of 320. An alumni of prestigious kitchens in Southern California including Bouchon Beverly Hills and Charlie Palmer at South Coast Plaza, as well as New York City's acclaimed Aureole, Chef Carrano's new menus feature a delicious offering of accessible American cuisine, utilizing classic French techniques and the freshest and finest of ingredients.

Great location, better menu

Wedge salad was great! Thick sliced bacon with roquefort hits the spot. Beet salad as good if not better! Steaks well prepared and served as ordered. Decent Scotch selection. Fun venue - looking forward to my next visit.

Based on the menu we had high expectations for a relaxing evening at a new restaurant for us. The noise level was piercing and shrill to say the least....from the kitchen clanging to the patrons of the bar/dining room carrying on like they are at home. The food quality was enjoyable but at entrees ranging from $24-36 they should be.... More

So my wife and I tried 320 on Main for the first time tonight. We ordered the bread and scallop ceviche. The bread was great but the ceviche never arrived...strike one. The mai tai was very good, no complaints about that. I ordered the top sirloin which came with potatoes and spinach and mushroom. Steak was pretty good, potatoes were... More

Got a waitress who kept blaming the kitchen being backed up for her forgetting to put in our ticket ( I know because the table next to us of hers got their brussel sprouts before us, when we had ordered it much prior). But the food was great, except for a strange poached egg on tasteless tuna that came with... More

the menu here is very small with only a few things to choose from but appetizers and drinks were great. It is centured almost half way through the town of Seal Beach. Patio to sit on while people watching.

Bad experience slow service, when the food finally arrived is was cold, sent it back, replaced it with more cold food, we told the server and the attitude was noticeable different from then on. When it was time for the check the server brought it in a tin cup and loudly slammed it on the table, please Seal a Beach... More

Welcoming. Reserved with Open Table and it was a breeze. Warm friendly service that was just right. Food was very good - nice portions and interesting variety. Cool bar. Clean restroom. Fun place that is a favorite when we come to this area. I had cioppino - it was really good without shrimp as I requested, it was a thicker... More

My previous review was focused on the bar and bar food. Given recent positive reviews in some press, I decided to try a sit down meal. I was not impressed and a little disappointed. Our server, Kimberly, was not engaged, attentive or enthusiastic. Perhaps she was having a bad day, but a few other reviews indicate servers have issues here... More

We stopped in on a Sunday evening after lots of recommendations from friends. We don't live in the area or we would have been sooner. Now I wish we did live in the area, because this place would be a regular haunt. We sat at the bar because we'd heard the cocktails and bartenders were something special. Have to agree.... More
