This was my first visit to Walt's Wharf while visiting a friend in CA. I ordered the grilled chicken sandwich. It was average; I would not recommend or order again. It did have a nice grilled flavor. The service was nice, and the location was nice as well.

Walt's is a favorite among the locals. I had a fine lunch here at my favorite table in the bar where gooning is mandatory.. This is a great place to people watch. I ordered Walt's special Salad with a side of Scallops. The scallops were grilled to perfection and had just a hint of smoke on them from the fire.... More

Walt's Wharf is a delightful Seal Beach find. The food is wonderful and the choices are many. It has good atmosphere and friendly servers. A must for us when we are in town.

We were a large party celebrating my son's graduation. The table was ready, the staff was friendly and the food was excellent. Several of us started the meal off with the Manhattan Chowder. It was clearly homemade and chock full of clams and veggies. Simply perfect. My barometer for a great place to dine is brochette. Been a lot of... More

Came here by myself for lunch and had the Seal Beach Cesear salad which is tuna mixed into a Cesear Salad. As always great clam chowder but this time the salad was not as good as usual. that's why I gave it a three. I used to eat at Walt's at least 2 times per month but not sure when... More

As a fairly new resident of Seal Beach, we went to Walt's Wharf for Mother's Day. I had the most outstanding, hot, steamy, perfectly cooked King Crab Legs that I've ever had! The service was excellent, and we definitely won't wait for a special occasion to return!

I've been going to Walt's Wharf since the 1970s and have to say I have had a hard time finding better, grilled seafood anywhere else in the country. Just thinking about it as I write this makes me hungry and eager to return!

Talk about awesome seafood, ambiance, charm, dynamite cocktails, great service, charm and a few steps to the ocean and a locals favorite, you're talking Walt's Wharf! We have been visiting Seal Beach for years and always make it a point to top off our getaway with dinner at Walt's. You should too!

Seal Beach in general is a fantastic little community, and although we live in the LBC we are in agreement that if we had out-of-town visitors and we needed to put them up outside the homestead it would be in Seal. Main Street is a lovely walkable place with lots of restaurants and bars and shops, and it ends right... More

Very old-school where the seafood is delicious. Nestled within the cute downtown area of Seal Beach, the Inside is a little dated but the food is fresh and worth it! I would revisit. Boston chowder and lobster-crab cake were perfect. Great service and staff
