I always choose this restaurant when my kids ask me where I want to go for my birthday dinner, and when I have guests in town. The food is incredibly awesome, the service is great, and there are plenty of choices for the person who does not like fish. The restaurant is fairly casual, so you don't have to dress... More

We enjoyed our first night in Seal Beach Dinner so much at Walt's that we returned two days later for lunch. The first experience was great, everyone loved it! Service, food, everything was great. The lunch experience - inferior service, the virgin daiquiris the kids loved o much the first night were awful the second. The kids wouldn't drink them.... More

This is not the cheapest in town, but whenever I have special guests, this is where we go, I've yet to be disappointed.

We have lived in Seal Beach for over 21 years and this was always our special go to restaurant for special occasions. Prices are $$$ so we usually come for celebrations. In the past, the food has been excellent and worth the price. The last time we went in for a birthday dinner, the prices had been raised and the... More

Unusual to find such a nice restaurant in the area but it was recommended by a friend and it did not disappoint.

Decidedly mediocre. I had the Alaskan Halibut special. The fish was a rectangular patty, cooked too dry. The sauce was bland and tasted of raw flour. This was not at all what I expected of a restaurant with so many higher reviews. Also had a "flight of fruit oriented wines." The Albarino was more acidic than I would expect, the... More

Walt's has been in business since 1970 serving fresh fish and warm hospitality. When we lived in downtown we dined at Walt's often. Located on Main Street in downtown Seal Beach they serve lunch and dinner 7 days a week. Wood Grilled Artichokes and Deviled Eggs topped with Crab are favorite appetizers .We stopped by for lunch and I enjoyed a... More

Decided to visit Seal Beach while looking for a place to wind down from traveling and business meetings. Walt's was busy, looked casual and comfortable, and we were looking for seafood so we dropped in. Employees were friendly and attentive with quick service. The room was not too loud for normal conversation. The caramelized salmon was cooked perfectly and tasted... More

Walt's. Is always busy with locals & tourists alike. Great food, good friendly atmosphere, coupled with relaxed dining. Locals love to sit in the bar area and watch the people go by.
