Very pleasant surprise

Very good food, warm, friendly service. Comfortable atmosphere really created a nice work dinner with my fellow associate. The fish was cooked perfectly and was accompanied by a varied, creative assortment of sides and garnishes. Walt is one creative dude, the wines were great too!

Amazing. Best food we have had in USA since we arrived. Starters delicious, wine wonderful and all reasonably priced. Don't miss it. We will be back.

Have been to Walt's many times, both lunch and dinner. This time lunch while in town for the annual car show... Very nice Bloody Mary's! Fish Tacos always a hit! Good Fish & Chips! Very friendly & efficient service! Great bar scene! Lunch or dinner, you won't be disappointed!

I have been going to Walt's for years. They have some of the best seafood on the west coast. I highly recommend this place if you are in the area.

On business in So Cal a colleague recommended Walt' s Wharf in quaint Seal Beach south of Long Beach. Sat at the bar with local regulars and had one of my favorite meals ever. Walts started as a fish market and now is a cozy place with a great wine list with some made by the owner"s son, great steaks,... More

The service was excellent and I was very impressed by the place. It is a beautiful environment, even a little fancy. The food is affordable and delicious, but I am not a seafood person. I had a salad with Walt's Chicken and it was delicious. If I liked seafood I probably would have more to say about the food.

Walt's wharf has been around forever, probably because of the excellent seafood and service. The menu is pretty standard but with a few interesting preparations. They have an excellent wine list for bottles but the by the glass menu is pretty limited. The only real downside here is the decor, which is vintage 1990 ( or so)- Hunter green table... More

This restaurant has been around for decades and always turns out a nice meal. Always seems fast to get a table, though always full. Two stories; good service, nice beverage selection, good menu. Though crowded, it is pretty quiet. I had the Boston clam chowder (New England)...excellent!! And, I had the fish fry. VERY good. I find that simple dish... More

Excellent seafood options that are perfectly prepared. Many New World wines (Napa, Paso Robles etc) and some Old World wines at great prices. The do need to increase thier Old world wine selection as they have a great ability to pair with their foods.

It was our second time at Walt's, and it was great! We went with a big group before the end of our vacation. We started with oysters, oak grilled artichoke, and lobster and dungeness crab cakes. My husband and I had the halibut. It was delicious, but a bit overcooked. The crab legs and salmon were yummy. Our service was... More
