My husband and I eat here on a routine basis and always try to take our out of town guests here. The food is always so fresh with plenty of healthy options. Service is friendly and attentive. Prices are reasonable. It is so nice to have a good food place in Scott's Valley.

I have a child who is mildly allergic to peanuts and sesame, which rule out lot of Thai food. He can be around peanuts, but gets an uncomfortable rash if he ingests it. They were okay with my bringing in his favorite Subway sandwich from down the street. I would not normally do that, but Grandpa was craving Thai. I... More

This is an offshoot of Saiebing (sp?) in Santa Cruz, same menu. It's quite tasty, although be sure to ask for the little containers of hot spices if it's too tame for you. The service is very good, the owner is always around smiling and welcoming, and the food is really very good. I love the coconut soup and the... More

Live locally and eat here about once a week. Friendly staff, solid good food. Not a destination location (strip mall) but if you're in the area, can't go wrong here if you enjoy Thai food. Only downside is they don't make it as spicy as I'd like.

I've been to what I think are some of the best thai restaurant's in the nation. I was absolutely shocked to find this place in a strip mall in the hills. You enter and are warmly welcomed. I ordered the thai BBQ chicken and it was very good. I wish I had ordered more items, but its hard going solo... More

We have had many Thai meals around the world and in England, so we decided to order food we like and compare it with what we were used to. Well, it was virtually identical, and very tasty! The restaurant only seats 50, at a push, and is decorated quite plainly but nicely. The staff are friendly and the service is... More

My family booked a hotel room in Santa Cruz/Scotts Valley for two nights. We checked-in around 7pm. Excited for the weekend activities but tired from a four hour drive, we were starving and could not decide what and where to eat. We agreed to look for a quick bite off the hotel property. Most of the restaurants that were in... More

We were driving back from Big Sur to San Francisco, slightly lost and very hungry, checked out TripAdvisor recommendations nearby and found this place. What a hidden gem! In a strip mall on the outskirts of a suburban town, tiny place with no fancy decor but the food was unbelievable. So fresh and flavoursome! We really felt we had stumbled... More

I love this place. The service is fast and friendly. The food is very good Thai. Many traditional options. I've had the Pad Thai and several of the soups. All was very goo. Lot's of people order the Satay but I have yet to try it but will on my next trip. Just love the soup.

Santa Cruz is far inferior to the peninsula as far as Thai restaurants go, but Kao Sook was better than the others in the area in our opinion. The service was delightfully friendly, the dishes tasty and generous, and the bill very reasonable. Try it!
