Ate at Salsalito Taco Shop for the first time ever. I had lunched at the highly acclaimed (and nearby) Copita last week and was less than impressed. I'm a native Texan living now in Sausalito, and I've eaten tons of Mexican food. I also live part-time in Mexico. Not expecting miracles at Salsalito, I was in the mood for some... More

Stopped for lunch based on Trip Advisor reviews. We sat outside. Very eclectic decorating. Service was friendly and quick. Unfortunately the food was a little disappointing. Fire roasted relleno was good, but taco conchita had too much salt. Veggie tostado with Dungeness crab was over priced as had very little crab.

After a bike ride over the Golden Gate Bridge we randomly decided on tacos and searched for a place nearby. We arrived to find a colorful little patio restaurant which was a pleasant surprise. We were seated right away outside. Service was fast and the chips with homemade quacamole was tasty and the tacos were delicious and well priced! Excellent... More

Not sure how an order of nachos, a quesadilla and 3 sodas come to 70 dollars. The food was great and would have given them 4 stars but they only get 3 for being so overpriced. And please dont give me because Saulsalito is expensive because i'm from NY and mexican food is way cheaper here. But the food was... More

If you are hankering for some authentic California-Mexican food, and you just happen to be in Sausalito, then the Sausalito Taco Shop is for you. They have a nice menu of tacos and other fare, so it took a while to decide while munching on excellent guacamole and chips and sipping Dos Equis, but I had fish tacos and my... More

so yummy. we tried a wide variety. Steak fajitas were hot and steamy, spicy and delicious. Enchiladas with mole sauce. (only problem was that there was way too much food on that plate for lunch). Chipolte shrimp...spicy and served with lots of veggies.....we think the young adult with us licked her plate. And the quesadilla was devoured. A perfect lunch.

Casual, friendly & charming in it's own special way. Very good authentic Mexican dishes at good prices. Beware of the hot sauce collection, they range in heat. We really enjoyed the open-air experience & food here.

We stopped by here for lunch after going to the Golden Gate Bridge. The food was delicious, the staff very nice and very easy. It was a very nice pitstop.

Tacos were great. Chips great too, although not on the house. The wet big donkey burrito was also excelante but a bit pricey. Loved the atmosphere and the service. Well worth the visit.
