we dropped into Salsalito to browse around and we're looking for somewhere to sit down in the sun and have a drink when we came across this place and decided to stop for lunch. It has the feel of a beach shack with lots of interesting knick-knacks and signs boasting the lack of wifi to encourage conviviality among the diners.... More

This place has great service and a varied menu that accommodates various dietary needs. The staff is cheerful and helpful. It's a bit of a walk from the usual tourist area, so it tends to be less crowded and therefore a favorite of the locals. It's an excellent place to eat in an informal setting.

I don't eat Mexican fare very often, but when I do I am most likely going to go here. It's not fancy and filled with locals, which is part of its charm. My favorite item on the menu is the shrimp quesadilla, filled with sautéed shrimp. It's listed as an appetizer, so you can share it as a couple, or... More

So authentic and tasty. Great for going out with friends. The tacos are always good. Amazing chips and salsa.

this little Mexican restaurant has authentic Baja fish tacos that you will love! They make their own chips and salsa...so yummy!! The staff is extremely friendly and the place is colorful and cheerful almost like being in Baja.

Great little restaurant with seating outside as well as in. The food was good but not great. The service was excellent and the drinks were good value for this area.

We ate here for lunch on 9/20. We were able to get right in and the server was polite and quick to take our drink order. We got the homemade chips to go with the salsa which was very good. The Lil Donkey burrito that I ordered was excellent and the Bean and Corn enchiladas that my wife order was... More

Last day in San Francisco and crossed the bridge to check out this area, we had a great lunch and to top it off some very strong and tasty Margarita's! Tacos were great, staff very friendly and attentive, all together a really enjoyable lunch. Would recommend to all especially if you are looking for a margarita with a kick.

Ate at Salsalito Taco Shop for the first time ever. I had lunched at the highly acclaimed (and nearby) Copita last week and was less than impressed. I'm a native Texan living now in Sausalito, and I've eaten tons of Mexican food. I also live part-time in Mexico. Not expecting miracles at Salsalito, I was in the mood for some... More
