Sausalito lacks the quantity of restaurants but the ones talked about are true to their mark. Off the beaten track lies this local haunt that serves up a great breakfast. Very dog friendly and parking is available right across the 7 eleven. I suggest eating outside to soak up the sausalito sun and the traffic is minimal in that area....

Mickey Mouse pancake for our little one. Deep fried stuffed French toast for dad. Norwegian eggs Benedict to die for! Green breakfast sandwich with eggs. Great coffee and fresh oj. What's not to love.

Billing itself as popular with locals since 1966 (a great year for the English) we thought we'd try a famous breakfast. We were not disappointed. At Fred's you are encouraged to share tables. The coffee was the best I tasted in California and it kept coming. Pancakes, bacon and maple syrup. That's heaven on a plate and very reasonably priced....

There were two fairly significant mistakes made in our order, which placed a slight damper on our experience. However, the overall quaint look-and-feel of the place and the quality of the food we did receive more than made up for it. We would absolutely return!

We drove up to Napa Valley from Fisherman's Wharf. We wanted a nice breakfast stop on the way. This place is just over the Golden Gate Bridge and pretty easy to find. One of the best meals we had all week in San Fran and napa. Very very good!
Very simple inside, excellent attentive service.
I had an avocado and bacon on let and the husband has the chix sausage frisco scramble. Both were excellent and a TON of food - we could've split one.
