It was a good sign seeing the line coming out of the resturant when we arrived. They were actually seating multiple parties at tables to make space for everyone. The service was great, very friendly people. The food was outstanding. Eveything was worth the hype and the wait. The Millionaire Bacon was the best we'd ever had! Overall 5/5 Absolutely... More

This place is definitely worth the ride and wait. We waited about 15 minutes for a table on a Friday for lunch. The staff are very friendly and hustle to seat you and feed you. I had the deep fried French toast. This is a must. The eggs Benedict was also fantastic.

Stopped in here on our way from San Francisco to Napa and sure glad we did. We had the Eggs Benedict with their famous bacon and tomatoes (cant remember the name of it) and lemon ricotta pancakes. Both were incredible. If we're ever in the area again we will definitely go back.

We stopped last week on our way up the coast. I am from NJ and have eaten my share of breakfasts in diners. The omelet was the fluffiest i've ever had. The hash browns were outstanding, crisp and sweet. I almost think there is ricotta in them. We left with full bellies and yearning for this breakfast the entire week... More

When you get off at the Sausalito exit, you will see a sign to go straight for the historic downtown. You will be on Bridgeway. Fred's will be on your right about a mile or so from the exit. Definitely before downtown. There's a colorful awning, either yellow or orange. There are lots of choices on the menu, Our entrees... More

Don't let the unassuming atmosphere fool you; the food is absolutely top notch. Fred's is definitely a great stop for a casual but incredibly flavorful breakfast or lunch!

Fun place to go for bkfst or lunch. About a mile+ from dwntn Sausalito so some might miss this. Look for yellow awning. Had to try the millionaire bacon mentioned in other reviews. Very unique..recommend. We were there mid-morning mid-week and still crowded. 6-7 tables inside, same outside, may have to share. Inside you can watch the chefs. Lots of... More

Stopped for breakfast on the way up to Muir Woods. Great breakfast. Super friendly staff & patrons. Eggs, millionaire bacon with potato medley. Fresh OJ. Simple and awesome.

Delicious, fresh, lots! I had a bacon avocado omelet with big chunks of avocado, perfectly ripe. The side fruit salad was perfect with 3 kinds of berries, kiwi and not the run of the mill fruit salad. I would go back here anytime.

An overall amazing brunch experience. While the Millionaire's bacon is more expensive then regular bacon, you owe it to yourself to try it! The brown sugar and other spices really make it a treat to go along with your other breakfast items. Parking Tip: There are a few spots located behind the restaurant but those will probably be filled. Try... More

Thank you for the kind words and for providing parking tips, 326. Yes, Millionaire's Bacon is more expensive but because it is extra thick, each piece is equal to 2-3 regular slices. Regardless, we are happy to hear you enjoyed it so much and hope to see you again next trip to the area. More
