Description: The Trident, formerly 'Horizons", is now open!! We recently completed our remodel and upstairs Skydeck addition showcasing the most amazing views! In January 1981, this beautiful space was revived into Horizons restaurant. Inside is an incredible recipe of art and architecture, complemented with a resemblance of an old yacht. The ceiling mural was original to the Trident and painted by Dave Richards, creator of Janis Joplin’s infamous 1965 Porsche Cabriolet. On the outside deck, discover one of the most stunning restaurant waterfront views on the west coast, which boasts the skyline of San Francisco, Angel Island and Alcatraz. We only wanted a light lunch in a pleasant place; regrettably, the food was a disappointment, but, as my wife acknowledged, "It was a nice place to sit." I had a kale and quinoa salad, but it was completely overwhelmed by way too much feta. They should have doubled the proportions of kale and quinoa and at least halved the... More

Had a lovely meal here after a long bike ride. The calamari was delicious and I had the seafood linguine for mains which was devine! I will definitely return in the future.

My wife and I made reservations to dine at Trident on the final night of our Sausalito vacation. We arrived 10 minutes before our reservation and were pleasantly surprised to be immediately seated. For the next half an hour we were completely ignored by staff. We were never even offered water. After being ignored by everyone except the lounge singer... More

Restaurant on the bay in Sausalito. The view was terrific, and outdoor seating was available. The food was unexpectedly delicious--since this is a touristy area, we did not expect anything quite this good. This place is located on the main street so there are some shops nearby.

We spent an afternoon here after our bike ride from pier 39 over the Golden Gate Bridge. West at one of the bars overlooking the bay and the views were amazing. Our waiter was fantastic and very attentive and friendly. We both had the chicken sandwich which I was lovely. Would definitely recommend a visit if you go to saulsalito... More

coming off the ferry, this is the last restaurant on the left before the road turns residential. right on the water, with a good number of tables offering direct water view. good service; food portions are generous if uninspired. expect classics like fish and chips. worth spending an hour watching the sailboats go by while having a cold one.
