Never heard of the place but I knew if locals are willing to queue that long then it must be worth it! And it was! Simple but well done :)

We needed a quick lunch because we were on a bus tour schedule, when we arrived there was no line (we didn't stop here first, wanted to check out another place, but came back to a small line). They are what they are: hamburgers, cheeseburgers, chicken sandwich, hotdog, fries. I got a cheese burger, my husband got a hotdog, we... More

Don't trust The bus drivers, there's a sign in there that clearly states that they get a discount if they show a valid ID. The burger meat is old, just look at the raw patties in the kitchen. They are more brownish then red. The bread was dry, and so was the meat. Taste was bland. The soda tasted chlorine!... More

We've walked past this place several times, but never stopped in. This time around we gave it a try, but I seriously doubt we'll be back. The burgers weren't bad, but they weren't great. One upside is I'm glad we only went with one order of fries because one order was plentiful. Too many other choices around town to make... More

For some reason you'll find this tiny spot always crowded with lines of people waiting to order to takeout, because there is no other way... That was the main reason we decided to give it a try... The hamburguers tasted good but not different as you can find in any other joint. I definitely won't go there again. There are... More

The hamburguers "per-se", are not really a big deal, you can even taste a better meat at any Carl's Jr. Next to your neiborhood, the place is just to pick up the hamburguers and eat them on the park on a picnic table with the San Francisco Bay as a background, which is really pleasant. Once you try them for... More

We looked forward to trying these burgers after reading very positive reviews. However, be prepared to wait a while, as they cook the burgers via "batch" processing, lining everything up until there are enough customers to cook the batch. The burgers are decent but not rave-worthy; are full of too many sauces that overpower the burger itself; and the rolls... More

We were in Sausalito and looking for someplace casual for lunch. Read great reviews so decided to give this place a try. There is no room to sit down and the line was out the door. But it was well worth the wait. The hamburgers were great. Loved the fries. I would go back for sure if in the area.

I first visited this little hamburger place I Sausalito 30 years ago that was when there wasn't a car park opposite - it was indelibly imprinted on my brain as the hamburgers were so fantastic so when I found myself back San Francisco on a cold wet February morning I insisted that we revisit this awesome place and guess what...
