Great for lunch and dinner

We found The Spinnaker our first day in the area as a result of parking near it in a public lot. We were hungry for lunch so decided to walk to it. Little did we know that The Spinnaker has complimentary (though valet) parking. The public lot charged us $3.hour. Oh well. We later discovered... read more

What a view, which promises to be the right place for a phantastic romantic dinner. Unfortunately, the food was not a trace of what we expected, having been there several times before for lunch. The crab meat as a starter was ok, but the entrees were completely disappointing. The seabass was topped with so much sauce and vegetables that it... More

Amazing view. Extensive menu. Delicious seafood. There is every type of seafood here. We both had the lunch combo of bay shrimp and avocado salad with clam chowder. Both were delicious. The restaurant sits out over the water so you have views all the way around - such a lovely setting!

We spent a beautiful sunny day celebrating my birthday in Sausalito, we all had a drink in the lounge, service was fine but the chairs and carpeting need to be replaced as they are very worn and dated. We had reservations for dinner later that day, we all of had different entrees, and they were all delicious. Our waiter was... More

After walking around Sausalito for a few hours, and checking out the various restaurants for lunch, we decided on The Spinnaker and very happy we did! Lunch was delicious and the prices for the area were very reasonable. I had the local sole dish(cannot remember it's name, begins with a "P"! My husband had the crab cakes! The sourdough bread... I wanted to celebrate my birthday dinner at a special place with dear two friends of mine and I chose to return to one of my very favorite restaurants "The Spinnaker!" When I made the reservation I asked to be seated with a window view. Little did I know that the corner table were the best seats in the entire... More

First of all, ask for the corner table with floor to ceiling windows overlooking the bay. During your meal, ours was brunch, we were entertained by harbor seals and Pelicans diving in the water to find their meal as well. I had eggs Benedict with a crab cake and others had them with salmon and another had scrambled eggs with... More

You give great advice -- that corner seat's an incredible place to watch over the Bay. I'm happy that you enjoyed the eggs, the service, and the entertainment (the pelicans!). I hope that we get to see you again -- the Bay's always here for you. Best, Jeff - General Manager More

We had a wonderful lunch here on a beautiful winter day. The view was superior, the service excellent, and the food was outstanding. Very good value for the money. Three of us had salads with seafood, and were very satisfied. I also had the New England clam chowder, which was very good. Nice, affordable wine list. A real variety of... More

This restaurant was a great finish to the day. This restaurant was a our third choice due to two other restaurants in SF/Sausalito for their annual cleaning. We are glad it worked out that way. Being from the Dallas area, we have had our share of nice restaurants. The appetizers were good. The entrees were really good. The food had... More
