If they have the corn "soufflé" appetizer - get it! So creamy and wonderful. Also had a very nice pasta dish & excellent lemon dessert.

Went with my kids to this fancy restaurant. There were no other kids at the restaurant so I felt a little uncomfortable, although the staff seemed not to worry. After a long day in SF we only went for a light dinner. For starters we shared a Salumi Misti which is a mix of very nice italian meat. It was... More

Very crowded, cost less than $50 for 2 mains and 1 sweet. Service was good. Would have liked to see house wines on the menu rather than just a la carte.

i was in a group of 5 holistic healthcare professionals. We had several appetizers (grilled artichokes with house-made aioli an absolute standout) and entrees shared among us. We all agreed this was one of the best restaurant meals we had eaten in years! They grow their own herbs and vegetables. The dishes are delicious and inventive without being fussy. I... More

This is a nice open restaurant on the street looking across to the marina. Window doors open to the street when it is warm and you can dine on the sidewalk. Delicious grilled artichoke, meatloaf to die for, wonderful service. Try Eric's Refresher for a cooling drink, most satisfying after a long walk along the piers. Wine menu is solid.... More

Poggio provides the room service for the Casa Madrone Hotel and Spa. The breakfast was delicious. And very reasonably priced! There was inside seating as well as tables on the sidewalk that provided a lovely view of the Bay and San Francisco in the distance.

We recently had a class reunion at Poggio's and they did everything they could to provide a fabulous experience for us. Food and service were impeccable. The room was beautiful and very comfortable for our group. It was a very special lunch in every way.

We have stayed four nights in Salsalito and after our first night eating at Poggio, ended up there every night, working our way through the menu and taking recommendations from waiters, all of which has been exceptional. Meatballs, scallops, tuna and shrimp salad all wonderful, fresh and tasty. Main courses included the salmon (never tasted such good corn), meatloaf, various... More

Great views, varied and well prepared food. Super hospitality attitude, especially from the guys at the bar. Great early morning breakfast spot too!

The place deserves 5 stars just for the knowledge of the wait staff. Great meal, fantastic wine, delicious dessert that we were talked into by the waitress who convinced us that the dessert we ordered was not going to go down well with the wine we had left. Lovely experience for the first dinner we had in Sausilto. In the... More
