Had a business casual dinner on my last trip. The sushi is AMAZING. Best I've ever tasted. Big sake menu with lots of options. Different desserts that were delicious. Fabulous service. Can't wait to go back!

We had read great reviews about this restaurant and as sushi lovers we decided to give it a try. We were far from disappointed! The atmosphere was nice and restful, with a pleasant decoration. The waiter was polite and helpful. We all chose chirasis and indeed they were delicious. Most probably the best I ever had -and I have been... More

We chose Sushi Ran as our lunch stop after flying into San Francisco on our way up Highway 1 - and were very happy we did! Very fresh, flavorful sushi with beautiful presentation. Seaweed salad, nigiri and rolls were all very good. Pricey, which is to be expected, and I wish the views were better from the restaurant itself -... More

Went with friends, who had proclaimed this best sushi ever. It was good sushi, but it did not impress "greatest ever" on me. Got the house hot sake, which was decent. We shared several rolls, including spicy tuna, crab, and crunchy rolls. The crunchy rolls were great! Everything was high quality food and fresh. Seemed overpriced, left still hungry. Brussel... I recently had the pleasure of going to 'Sushi Ran' for dinner. I was promised the 'meal of my life', I was not disappointed. My friends advised we needed a reservation, so we made one before going to Sausalito. We sat at the Sushi bar and decided to go with the 'Omakase' (Japanese for 'entrust') this is a chef's choice... All in all we had a good experience here. The service was good and our waitress Emily gave good advice on what rolls we should take. We decided to take Maki rolls and some salads. The seaweed salad was very good and so was the Seasonal Greens (especially the dressing). Of the maki rolls I really liked the Salmon Citrus...yummy.... More

Some unusual sushi, great freshness, and very interesting tastes. The vegetable tasting is a real find. The service was good, but the wait was longer than predicted.

If you are looking for great sushi, this is your place. We had to wait for 45 minutes to get a table but it was well worth the wait! My daughter and I do not care for sushi per-say, however my husband and her fiance love it....so being the nice ladies we are, we agreed to go there. We are... More

I love sushi ran. I've been here several times and it is always great. Their fish is always so fresh and full of flavor. Their servers are very knowledgeable. The restaurant is low key and laid back. Definitely has a Sausalito vibe. There are many other incredible, non-sushi items on the menu. Their corn soup is great. Highly recommend, especially... More
