Authentic Regional Italian Food

Small and noisy....the food is incredible. This little secret gem is the true find! Two women from the Italian countryside run this quaint restaurant. The meals seem as if your Italian mama just whipped up a welcome home meal! Live music is squeezed into the front corner of the room, very... read more

We had Sunday brunch here on the 12th of April based on the reviews and thought it would be a great start to our next few days stay in Sausalito. I actually went back to review the other comments and the menu here on Trip Advisor to make sure this was the same place we ate at. I had the... More

I eat breakfast at Divino pretty regularly and am always impressed - the coffee is excellent, the pastries are great and the menu is uniquely Italian in feel. The servings are fresh and plentiful (whether you choose fruit or vegetables as your side you won't be disappointed). Divino itself is well put together - everything is solid - a solid... More

We are 7 in the family visiting Charles Schultz Museum in Snata Rosa and decided on the way back to dine in Sausalito. Because of the great reviews, we thought to try this place. The Mexican waiter was very kind and friendly. He checked out at our table frequently in case we need anything. This is a small restaurant with... More

great food, uniquely cooked, not you standard tourist pap. reasonably priced, great service. Would have given it an excellent rating except it did not have a full bar (missed my martini) only wine and beer

We discovered this spot by accident on an evening walk. The live jazz musical quartet was amazing so we hung out for a while, had a coffee, and after learning that they had a variety of music during the week, came back twice more that week and have continued to go there regularly. The ambience is warm and sexy, the... More

Every other Wedneday evening a great crooner named Jonathan and his trio are there--don't miss him. Food and service and terrific and owner Elizabeth is really running a great business here. Music most nights adds to the welcoming room with lots of candles and reasonable (and delicious) food and drink. A must visit among a good selection of excellent restaurants... More

When you have a mediocre meal in a place that many think is great you must ask some introspective questions! Expectations? But, my meal was mostly pasta, (and overcooked at that) and not much meat. My wife's meal was equally disappointing. Two of the entrees at 7:30 were gone........so.... I am not sure. Perhaps it is worth another swing at... More

Had reservation and they made us wait but they comped us wine and an appetizer. Loved the food, the music. A bit dark and bit noisy for good conversation but I feel horrible complaining-the owner was gracious and the food was fantastic.

We had a 9 pm reservation after our sunset sail on SF Bay. They weren't ready with a table but the gal gave us a free wine while we waited and once seated, we were given a free appetizer. Great wine selection, live jazz music (a bit loud and dark) but with the great food, excellent service, we were happy.... More
