I come here every month or so with my wife. She and her mother have been visiting for years. They know the owners and the servers. It's a welcoming environment and a local breakfast place. The food is really good. They have a nice selection of omelettes (27 on the menu). I try to order a different one each time.... More

This was a nice, simple little restaurant with great service and great food. The steak burrito was great, but I think the best part was the guac and corn chips. The chips were hot and the guac was fresh and delicious. The place wasn't touristy at all and wasn't very crowded around lunch. It is a great place to stop... More

I was attracted by other reviews in TripAdvisor that said the locals eat here, and it's true. This is a Mexican/Seafood restaurant focusing on crab dishes as well as Mexican classics. The Crab Eggs Benedict were perfect, as was a Chimichanga crisply fried with rice and a choice of chopped beef. The restaurant is owned by the employees who are... More

The Anchorage 5 Restaurant is where the locals go. You drive past the other breakfast places on Bridgeway with lines out the door, and know you will be able to walk right into the Anchorage. Luis and Regina Diaz serve breakfast and lunch with a Mexican spin. Huevos Rancheros have an amazing home made sauce. They featured home made tamales... More

Honestly this is written because I like this place so well..Great Food, Great Friendly Service, Open 7 days.. American Food but with a good Mexican South American flare. Whether it's simple bowl of Oatmeal or Bacon and Eggs, Stack of Pancakes, or maybe Eggs Montana, Chirizo and Eggs, Benedict, it's great and well served. Cottage or Hash Browns? Also the... More

Good food, priced cheap, great service. The food has a good price for good food in a rich area. But is kind of hard to find and there is always enough save for everyone. It's never super busy.

Visited this place on a recommendation, It is set back in gate 5 which you will not find unless you have some inside info! When I hear the term "hole in the wall" or "Mom's home cooking" it perks my interest and this place did not dissappoint, The atmosphere is casual and friendly just like a local place should be,allot... Four different brunches, all excellent traditional American (and Mexican, but we ate American this time). Avocado Eggs Benedict had tasty hollandaise, perfectly poached egg and crisp English muffin; crab Benedict A+++, Corned beef hash was homemade, basic egg salad on toast was yummy. Service was friendly and quick. Definitely a hidden gem.

First off, this is a little piece of the 50's. What with the nautical theme, friendly wait staff, diner vibe. It's out of the way which may be good since the couple of times I've been it's near empty. The food is very straight forward, nothing fancy but well priced and well prepared.
