Really beautiful Mexican place. The staff is super friendly and the decoration is nice, especially the chicken grill. Food portions are not huge, if you go for example for the chicken tinga with 2 tortillas, you might not be full. However, as you clearly need to test the homemade taccos with guacomole as well homemade, this makes it a perfect... More

Our stay here in Sausalito wouldn't be complete without more than one visit to Copita Teqilera y Comida I was so fortunate to meet the Chef Extraordinaire Joanne Weir on my first night in Sausalito Copita almond with co founder Larry Mandel The food was unique and delicious mix of the Mediterranean and Oaxacan influenced palate The carrot Soup is... Crowded but nice. Fish tacos were simple but very tasty. The apples and cucumbers with the sprinkled chili was an added bonus to the table. Guacamole was very good as well as the ceviche. Pricey but worth it.

Pretty good , but I prefer original, authentic Mexican food. The best description is 'modern Mexican'. Our meal was essentially high priced street tacos. Wasn't impressed with the margaritas, but I make them at home and used to my tequila (Azulejo), mix, fresh limes off the tree and Gran Marnier. There is better Mexican food at better prices.

Stopped here for lunch, weren't sure what to expect. We ordered a mixture of Taco's, fish, chicken and vegetarian. All very fresh and healthy and delicious. Also loved the papas bravas.......portion very small though! Pleasant enough staff, would definitely recommend.

Ordered two cocktails service great , then was ignored time and time again by the bar lady . Then asked a waitress for a menu and the bar lady was some what rude . The bar man was also chatting openly about business practices that were not really correct .

A crowded restaurant on a Friday night. We had a late dinner. Great gaucamole and chips. Sangria was very good. The chicken tacos were different - also very good. Our children 17 and 21 split a dish of three small items - they enjoyed. A fun atmosphere. The food was reasonable - but high for "Mexican". Good service I would... More

I usually don't expect much in such a touristy location, but Copita is a standout. The place is attractive, especially on a beautiful summer day, the staff was helpful but the food was wonderful. Really fresh and tasty Mexican food to savor.

Great food, great drinks, great service, and great location - what more can you ask for!!! We tried the carne asada tacos as well as the oyster tacos and both were fantastic!
