Great but overpriced.

The Mexican food offered here is anything but Tex-Mex. Wonderfully creative cuisine. But, the portions are small and wayyyyy overpriced. Service is very good and if you enjoy fine tequilas you've found the right place.

We were in Sausilito for only one afternoon and thankfully we spent most of our time at Copita. Our waitress was absolutely wonderful. Knowledgeable about the food and drinks and very personable. I had the Copita margarita which was fabulous. We had the porchetta tacos that are indescribably good. The executive chef dropped by and suggested how we might prepare... More

Sometimes I question the quality of the trip advisor reviewer. Describing Copita as 4 stars is a disservice. This is HANDS DOWN the best (100% gluten free) Mexican Restaurant on the planet. The Sausalito atmosphere can't be beat. The drinks are exceptional... All made by hand with many of them requiring fresh ingredient preparation. The food is ridiculously good... From... More

Learned about Copita from KQED's Check Please, Bay Area where all 3 reviewers gave this place their culinary blessings and before the televised segment was over i had booked an early reservation for dinner. We went on a Sunday and the traffic was pretty bad both getting out of San Francisco (the road to the bridge) and getting to Copita... More

We sat at the bar on a Saturday night and had a fantastic time. Amazing drinks from Juan and impeccable service from GM Cassie.

We had a quick lunch with spicy and well-made food of typical origin. Friendly staff and price-worthy menu top up the experience!

We had an excellent and highly creative meal at Copita, which provided some of the best mexican food that we ever had. After interesting and tasty starters, we sampled many dishes, all of them tasy and refined. In particular, the papas bravas were first class, and so was the trio of cerviche. Delicious fried pork belly, subtle and tasty enchiladas... More

This restaurant is slightly round the corner in Sausalito, aways from the tourist crowds. The tacos are the best I've had since I've moved here. Crispy pork belly, perfect juicy carne asada, fresh mahi mahi and zingy chicken tinga. Fresh lemonade is great and the guacamole is a bowl of creamy deliciousness! This is definitely more expensive than other places... More
