Everything was spicy! The ceviche, the guacamole, the chips. The food was good but we ask about the spicy and we were told that everything was made mild.... Umm not sure about that. Overall its was a good dinner and the service was very good. I would go back again.

Right smack dab in the center of Sausalito is an authentic Mexican restaurant of the highest quality and with ambiance to go with it. Seems like a family run establishment because most of the patrons were hugging the chef and manager as they left. The menu has a great variety of items , from small plates to full course meals.... Copita does not serve your typical Mexican food: big plate of refried beans, rice and gloppy enchilada. It is fresh, interesting and absolutely delicious! I have eaten here several times and each time was fantastic! I won't go into describing everything I've eaten here because it is not necessary, everything is prepared well. If you are in Sausalito, you like... More

Ate hear whilst staying four nights in the area. I must say I have eaten a lot of Mexican style food in my time but the food here was something else. I had the enchiladas. My goodness they were good! Packed with flavour and plenty of spice. I'm just upset I don't live near this place.

Spent a couple hours in Sausalito while visiting San Francisco last weekend. We walked the main street, enjoying the great shops, and came upon this place. What a great spot! We sat at the bar & the server (Jesse?) was fantastic. He was just a 'great' guy! Service was fantastic, the snack we had was delicious (the Trio of Tamalitos),... More

After cycling the Golden Gate bridge we found this great Mexican restaurant for lunch. The ambiance was great, the service outstanding and the food to die for. I taste pretty amazing dished, from tacos to the ceviche and an amazing corn on the cob. Highly recommend this place to anyone going to Sausalito.

First day in Sausalito and fell in love with the town! Was looking for fish tacos and a patio and found the perfect one! The restaurant is actually owned by some famous woman chef, don't remember her name. Served cucumbers and jicama with seasoning as an appetizer for free. Nice and refreshing! The tacos had a mango type salsa that... More

Such a nice experience on my recent visit. Great menu, great service, great food. Loved the lime & chile powder pickles served at every table. The two salsas that came with the chips were some of the best I've ever had. The menu offers small plates and also offers your choice of 2 or 4 tacos, would be very easy... More

We had a great lunch there. Food was very fresh and delicious. The menu has a large margarita menu with all types of tequilla. Service was outstanding.

This was a popular open air restaurant right on Bridgeway. The staff was friendly and the food was very good. Huge selection of tequila's!
