We only had an hour in Sausalito, so we decided to stop at the Bridgeway Cafe for a quick bite and then head around this sleepy little town for shopping... What a mistake. We spent 10 minutes waiting to be served and 30 minutes waiting for our food. They had many servers, but no one server dedicated to our table.... More

Cute atmosphere and breakfast served all day. Everything looked good. I had pancakes and coffee. Good coffee but the waiter never asked if we wanted a refill. Also not enough syrup for my pancakes. But those are first world problems.

We recently visited here after an absence of 3 years. We used to go all the time, from when our kids were very young, then moved away from the Bay Area. The breakfast and lunch are still great, even after the expansion of the ownership group. The prices have gone up a bit, but that seems to be a broad... More

For anyone who has travelled to Sausalito, California it is not an inexpensive place. My wife and I wanted have a light lunch, but most of the picturesque restaurants with posted menus provided extensive and expensive meals. Fortunately, there were a number of smaller cafe type eateries with indoor and outdoor seating. We chose this particular venue because they served... More

We wanted a good cup of coffee - a quick breakfast. We got great coffee - a quick breakfast which was very tasty - great service - and an amazing view of San Francisco and the bay. It is a relatively small cafe - has three tables outside as well. Breakfast offerings included omelettes (you get hashbrowns and bread as... More

So you say, it was Breakfast---but see my review of the Lighthouse cafe down several blocks... Note the difference. The owner is a very nice man, but the place is without a lot of charm or comfort. He almost appears stressed. Waitress was fine. Food was a 78-83/100 on my personal score card. NOT bad but it good do better... More

The café itself is OK, just as it should. However, the (very small) terrace in front of the door does offer fantastic views of San Francisco. Ideal to pause here for a while and perhaps wait until the fog clears in the bay. From across the street, you can make beautiful pictures. So it is very recommended to have a... More

Looking for a nice bakery for a real croissant and other goodies. I am always looking for the local version of the Bouchon Bakery in Yountville, my Gold Standard for bakeries. Unfortunately, true bakeries where goods are baked on site are fewer and farther between in 2014. Croissants were more bread than croissant and the very limited supply of baked... More

Well I must say the new owners radically changed my view of this restaurant., They serve all the coffees you need, so our friends got their Americano and espresso. My husband's colleague has been on a national search for the best Huevos Rancheros. These are at the top of the list so far. We love our corned beef hash...excellent with... More

A nice way to start the day! Great food and ambiance as we ate breakfast outside watching the boats in the bay. Can't get any better than that!
