Great location with parking in back. Husband enjoyed the calamari sandwich. My veggie lasagna was okay. They had a sweet trio singing oldies from the 50s and Christmas songs. Pleasant. One of the most affordable restaurants in Sausalito.

Visited recently in the hopes of discovering a new pizza restaurant. We won't be going back. I had seen crowds at the restaurant this summer and assumed the food would be good. It wasn't. We ordered a salad and two pizzas. The best I could say about the salad was that it was ordinary. The pizza disappointing. One was soggy... More

We've stopped at Taste of Rome because we read on one of the sites that they serve great smoothies. Turned out that they do have smoothies on the menu, however it's pre-made frozen stuff. Because of that we've decided on the cake and coffee. None of their desert displays had prices. The answer was "They are between 4 and 6... More

We stayed at a place directly across from here, so it was great to be able to wake up and just walk on over. I ordered the Americana and a latte a few times, both good. Their desserts were pretty good too. I got the Princess cake and my mom got the carrot cake. Both were good, but I wouldn't... More

Great spot for a quick meal. We had breakfast here twice because the food was great and it was quick so we could go do touristy stuff! Had great coffee too!

We were brought three other dishes before we were finally brought outs. it wasn't like it took forever- I think we only waited fifteen minutes or so for a couple pizzas.. but we had a number on our table. How about using that to locate what food goes where? Not sure if they spoke English or not- but numbers are... More

Pasta. The most basic Italian dish. They even manage to screw this one up for three pasta portions we ordered. Just over cooked, and under taste. More self service than restaurant service. Can't believe it can get any worth than that in Sausalito. Go somewhere else.

The food is very good and Italian like. There are only a few waiters and they're not expected to serve you at the table! I recommend this place for once in a life time.

I used to go to this Cafe all the time when it was still Cafe Trieste. Great location next to the Marina, outlets for the computer, good coffee (and better cappuccino) and outdoor seating perfect for basking in the sun, meeting friends and people watching. You are not harassed for hanging out, nursing a cup of coffee. This is one... More
