My three kids (23 and 16x2) had a great breakfast here while exploring Sausalito. This is a diner in the grand American tradition, small and friendly with great food and super friendly service. The huevos rancheros are exceptional--take it from me.

The cafe is a charming, cute little diner with good food and excellent customer service. I had the huevos rancheros for breakfast which were tasty. My husband had the corned beef hash - the corned beef seemed to be homemade and it was yummy. Coffee was flavorful and always topped up. The place had real character. Highly recommend it!

Upon arrival there was a wait outside of the restaurant. This isn't a place where you call and put your name on the list, it is very casual, and you wait outside- first come first serve. My family and I waited about 30 minutes to eat. It was an extremely small restaurant and we were all very discouraged given the... More

How this place ranks as high as it does we do not know? Way over priced for what you get and the service is much to be desired. We had to ask for a drink for our 2 year old three times. She asked us once during breakfast how the floor was be never can back to ask if we... More

A delightful surprise for breakfast. Great choices in sausage - fennel chicken was awesome. The best tasting blueberry pancakes I've had in years. Friendly, efficient, good eats. Had no problem getting seated, but when we left there was a line forming. Avg bkfast (2 eggs, 2 sausage, 2 pancakes) is about $12. Off the beaten path. Nothing fancy inside, just a... More

Tiny spot just at the end of the main drag in Sausalito. Good service, always crowded but they move quickly. Classic good value breakfast spot without the Sausalito price premium. No gluten free bread options but great breakfast potatoes so easy to live without here.

Really, what can you do with Breakfast? Well this little cafe, which is along the main drag (Bridgeway) has a great menu and if you are really hungry you will be satisfied. The staff is warm and "family." On vacation, this is the place you want to find. In my mind a must place to go. Elegant environ-NO; but a... More

Lighthouse is the cutest little diner. I stopped here on my way to San Rafael to have breakfast. The food is as good as diner food can be and the setting is great. The service was good and I'd definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a beachy, friendly place to grab some food. My boyfriend had the sausage and... More

We woke to a driving rainstorm, disappointed about the obvious glitch in our day's plans. So, we decided to regroup over breakfast at The Lighthouse, and what a bright light it was! It's a tiny spot with maybe 6-8 tables and 8 seats at the counter. We nabbed the last table, and thank goodness. My husband ordered the corned beef... More

Love this place, eat here every time I come to Sausalito, because it feels like home. Try their pancakes , bacon. My favorite is the Mexican scramble
