Food tasted good and the service was personal and friendly. Good place for breakfast but not the best place in town in my oppinion.

If you are lucky, your town or neighborhood has one. Lighthouse is smaller than most diners, it what it is, and crowded at meal times. Try 10 or 2 so you don't gave to wait. A few items are labeled as Danish. The meatballs were fine. Prices are a little higher than Iowa or Jersey. Once we were seated our... More

Great place. From the outside, it's a little light house, inside, it's a typical dinner. You can be there sited waiting for your breakfast and drooling while they cook, cause the cooking plate is only one foot distance from the desk. The bacon they use is the real stuff, thick and tasty. The food is really good. The price is... More

We tried breakfast here because it was within walking distance of our hotel. We sat at the counter to order our food. There was one waitress who seemed to be serving everyone in this small restaurant. She seemed more interested in socializing with some of the locals that dine here, than she was serving food to the rest of the... More

The pancakes are the size of the dinner plate.....basically a small pizza. You can definitely just order one along with your breakfast choice. We had the blueberry pancake, and it was everything a pancake should be - perfect texture, golden outside, fluffy but not cakey in the middle. Bacon was thick and crisp. I have no complaints - service was... More

We were in San Francisco last week and went to Sausalito for breakfast. This is not the first time my family has been here but I had not reviewed it until now. Lighthouse Café has delicious breakfasts. It is always busy and you may have to wait a little while but it’s not too long and its always worth it.... More

Whenever I visit San Francisco, I try to make a day trip to Muir Woods just north of the city. I like to hike the woods and usually leave in the morning. I always make a breakfast stop at this place on the way! The best breakfast and honestly incredible coffee.

The restaurant is family owned & ran so it's seating is limited. We waited approx 15 minutes but I'd wait longer for the special flavors & touches they put into their cooking. It truly was one of the best breakfasts I've ever had & I love to patronize quaint family places such as this.

Very impressive hidden gem! You will not be disappointed! A little small so get there early for a seat. Other than that, the food & service was great!

My three kids (23 and 16x2) had a great breakfast here while exploring Sausalito. This is a diner in the grand American tradition, small and friendly with great food and super friendly service. The huevos rancheros are exceptional--take it from me.
