A Perfect Marin/SF Brunch

Murray Circle is an amazing, serene setting. We looked out over the spacious glade to the bay as a large cargo vessel eased westward, disappearing through the fog that had settled just inside the Golden Gate. We looked out over the spacious glade to the bay as a large cargo vessel eased westward, disappearing through the fog that had settled just inside the Golden Gate. Excellent food attentively and beautifully served in a great old historic building. A bit pricey, but the whole package makes it worth the cost. Think of where you are, Fort Baker at the north end of the Golden Gate Bridge and think of the fine dining alternatives and their cost across that bridge in SF. This one becomes a pretty... More

The service and food were a big let down. Our food came out raw and we had to ask the server several times for the wine we ordered

Good food, lovely environment with excellent service, although a bit pricey. The deserts were delicious and wines extensive.

Great spot for lunch on the porch in the shadow of the Golden Gate. Not a thing on the menu disappointed, but best of all, and quite special, was the broth highlighting the mussels appetizer. An ideal start to a day in the wine country.

Had a very enjoyable meal, starting with raw oysters (almost always excellent wherever), soy glazed pork belly appetizer (absolutely delicious), gem lettuces with boccorones (tasty delicate and light version of a ceasare-like salad), then I had the lamb and my wife the aged pork chop. The lamb and the various accompaniments were delicious. The pork chop had been brined and... More

The food at Murray Hill was good - both my husband and I enjoyed it and found lots that we like on the menu. My teenage children had difficulty finding foods that they liked - which is disappointing because Murray Hill is the only restaurant at a family resort (Cavallo Point). The hostess rolled her eyes and mocked my children... More

We stayed at Cavallo Point, and wanted to try the restaurant. We are from Manhattan and have come to expect a lot from a Michelin starred chef. We got the strawberry salad, bone marrow, halibut, and salmon. All were solid but nothing particularly special. I would give the atmosphere high marks and overall the service and experience were very pleasant... More

Working this week in San Fran and entertaining clients at Cavallo Point for a night of cooking. We decided to stay here and not in the city to have a new experience. So far it has been lovely experience- other than TV not working, yet they are changing it out quickly. Looking forward to a relaxing week even though have... More
