I found this place by accident while on the business trip. It's got a great atmosphere, good food and an unbeatable view on the park and the Golden Gate Bridge. A bit on expansive side, this restaurant is great for a date.

Enjoyed thoroughly one weekday afternoon. We had the set lunch menu for $28 with choice of one of four mains. Beautiful presentation, creative interpretation by deconstruction of standard presentation. Innovative and would recommend. Lovely on a cold day inside. Great experience!

There are some regular menu items here (hamburgers, mac and cheese), but there are some unusual offerings as well (a cup of pistachio nuts as an appetizer-$4, turnip and apple soup). My husband and I split a delicious, thick smoked turkey and cheese sandwich on sourdough bread ($14). There were handmade potato chips with a thick creamy dip. I also... More

Recently dined here with 6 friends for a birthday lunch. Unfortunately, I ordered wrong! The Crab Sandwich was too mayonnaisey for me and there was way too much bread. My neighbor ordered the chicken butter lettuce cups and pronounced them super salty. 3 of us ordered the Ahi Tuna Salad at $23.00 each and were very happy. The only lunch... More

Fabulous time. You stay in one of the original officers residences at this historic Army base. You get with your stay a magnificent view of San Francisco, the Bay, and the Golden Gate Bridge. The food is delicious and you can eat outside with the above views and overlooking the parade ground and imagine the troops assembling to the call... More

Halloween evening, We had great time at Farley Bar. Distinguish looking bar. Serving comfy foods. I felt so light and healthy even I had Tamale, Avocado dipping, Lettuce cup with Apple champaign. Chef carefully chooses ingredient from Local farm. I felt so relax. Farley Bar's staffs were so friendly. I enjoyed evening with nostalgic Farley Bar.

Had lunch here on a pristine Sunday afternoon yesterday, no clouds over the bay! Had to wait 30 minutes to be seated on the porch but well worth the wait, the view was magnificent! I had a lovely ahi tuna salad while my companion had a delicious grass-fed burger. A glass of Sancerre complimented everything, could not have been better!

We had some interesting things here , including bone marrow (not me) and some good appetizers as well as salads. I had a vegetarian plate which was less than yummy; the 'scallop' were turnips or something and the texture was no good. Everyone else loved their meals. Service was great. Atmosphere was quite lovely with calm and un-cloying decor.
