Recently dined here with 6 friends for a birthday lunch. Unfortunately, I ordered wrong! The Crab Sandwich was too mayonnaisey for me and there was way too much bread. My neighbor ordered the chicken butter lettuce cups and pronounced them super salty. 3 of us ordered the Ahi Tuna Salad at $23.00 each and were very happy. The only lunch... More

We had some interesting things here , including bone marrow (not me) and some good appetizers as well as salads. I had a vegetarian plate which was less than yummy; the 'scallop' were turnips or something and the texture was no good. Everyone else loved their meals. Service was great. Atmosphere was quite lovely with calm and un-cloying decor.

Great place to spend the day, see the waterfront and views of San Francisco. Former military base. You could stay overnight at one of the houses. We had dinner at the Murray Circle Restaurant for a group of 10. Excellent service and food choices.

After crossing the Golden Gate, it was a fabulous place to sit outside and with great viewings in a very calmful surrounding in old Sausalito. You can arrive by boat, car or taxi from SF and enjoy great food and some good wine or beer. Service was good and would recommend for business lunch, friends and couples. Our friends recommended... Stopped in after a refreshing walk along the Sausalito coast. My friend and I sat outside and had a light meal of an in-house, freshly baked bagel, with homemade cream cheese and chives, along with fresh smoked salmon and capers. Simply wonderful! The view of San Francisco Bay and the Golden Gate Bridge was like a scene out of a... More

Where can you find great food, an historic location, and views like this? I don't know many places, which could by why our dinner here was a standout. Food was fantastic for all four, service was excellent, and the room was so lovely.

I don't really understand the bad reviews. Our experience has been that this place is damn near perfect. "Slow service"? They just don't hurry you. You can be there for 2 hours and not even realize it because you are relaxed and talking to your companions without a bunch of loud noise and TV's. The service is outstanding, the food... More

Don't bother with this place if you are planning a celebratory event. What you are told on the phone and promised months in advance, even if you confirm and re-conform is vastly different from what you will encounter upon arrival. "We have no notes about your request for a special table in your reservation," the hostess told us. "Here squeeze... More

Initially the service was slow, we had what was described as Eggs Benedict,It consisted of the eggs sitting on something called a biscuit. It was dry and crunchy? never had anything like that under my eggs before. The eggs were overcooked and the hollandaise watery. We also had two coffees and the bill was almost $50!! extortionate for a rubbish breakfast. We... More
